and the stands are just fine. I've repositioned them and still no problems
I've had my speakers hooked up for several months, and the stands are just fine. I've repositioned them and still no problems.

Silver Uni Speaker Stands
I read the reviews on Amazon prior to the purchase so I had a pretty good idea of what I would get. And they met my expectations. Given what they cost and that I hadn't found any better universal speaker stands for my Home Theater In A Box Surround System speakers I'm satisfied. Instead of the silver set being sent they sent me a black set but when I asked for the silver set instead they were great about getting them to me. ALTHOUGH THE PRODUCT ISN"T EXCELLENT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS.

These are NOT functional speaker stands.
Let me start off by saying that I wish I could rate these "speaker stands" at zero stars. Okay, I'll admit I was trying to save a buck. I knew that at $12 dollars apiece these stands would unimpressive looking (they are). I could have lived with that. But the fact is, they just won't do the job they are supposed to do, namely, hold up your speakers in a secure and stable fashion. The problem is very simple, the square base is just too small and too light to do the job. It measures just 10 X 7 1/2 inches and weighs next to nothing. When it comes to speaker stands, the base is the most important part. I have Bose dual-cube speakers, which are very compact, but do have a little weight to them. In spite of the pole's offset, these so-called "speaker stands" would not stay upright, unless I VERY carefully aligned the speaker along the 10 inch diagonal of the base and placed it on a hard, completely flat surface. But it's extremely unstable; if you touch or brush by it at all, your speaker is going to fall. And if you have carpet on the floor, these things are REALLY scary. It's just ridiculous. I doubt if the manufacturer bothered to try them out before putting them on the market. Bottom line, if you value your speakers, do not put them on these tipsy, poorly designed stands.

Not very tall and mounting cover is plastic
The height is about right for ear level speaker. However the mounting bracket is very flimsy and if using the keyhole mount the speakers will point a little bit towards the ground. The rear speakers need to be a little higher but don't go very high. The mounting cover is of low grade plastic and is a very loose fit. However the price is affordable and you get what you pay for. If I had to do it again I think I would buy a more study brand even if it costs a little more. The stands do allow running the wires through the stand times allowing the hiding of the wires which would look nice but I was not able to get the wires to successfully go all the way through.

Low Capacity, Cheap Construction
This is one of my most disappointing purchases. Flimsy, weak, cheap, wobbly... The adjustment knob and part that attaches to the speaker are cheap plastic- not very confidence inspiring and not sure I'd trust them to pricy speakers. The Product Description in the listing above says it can support 5 pound speakers in one place, then less than 5 lbs in another, while the title of the listing says 10 pounds. Maybe 10 pounds total for all 4 stands! It's precarious with my 4 pound Infinity satellites.Trying to thread 18 gauge speaker wire through the poles is an exercise in frustration. I was eventually successful, but not without several attempts.Lesson learned. Spend more money.

Love it, I used to install my speaker system
Love it, I used to install my speaker system. One came defective and the company was able to replace and resend with no problems and quickly. The stand from far looks high-end my brother thought I spent a lot of money on it.

OK, not great
Worked fairly well for my Bose speakers. Found that the screw connection was a bit loose and the stand rotates. If they are left alone, they should work fine
