ViviLux 3-in-1 Rechargeable Green Laser System for Sewing & Quilting – Adjustable Line, Crosshair, and Dot Laser Heads, Hook and Loop Tape Mount

Gave to wife for Christmas and she just put it on yesterday with a fully charged battery. Worked for a little over two hours and stopped working. Tried recharging battery with no success and now past the return window. We had no reason to believe it would stop working so we’re in no hurry putting it on till she started quilting again after the holidays. Would not recommend this with the return window so short even if it breaks. It expensive little price of equipment.

I was so excited to receive this but it came at a very busy time of me preparing for a wedding. Therefore I did not get to try it until June 16. It charged great but did not turn on. There is no light. Then realizing the return window was closed on June 14, I am so dissappointed and upset.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Absolutely love this item. Chose the green for easier view of light on all items being sewn. The straight line has helped keep my stitch lines straight and precise because you can see the line on top of what you're sewing verses getting hidden underneath the stitch guide.

The product works well. When I turn it on I must have it plugged in to work. If charged, I can unplug & the light stays on for the length of the charge. But when I turn it off I must plug in again to start the process.

This is my second purchase of the ViviLux Green Laser system. The first experience was being sent a broken unit. The laser head had been removed from the attaching cable and base laser producing unit. Appears the initial purchaser had damaged it and returned it for a replacement. Amazon apparently only looked to make sure all the parts were returned, placing the broken laser back in stock, allowing me to become the unlucky recipient. I searched for the original manufacture, finding a contact link. Sent a message about the unit damage. The ViviLux owner responded and stated he was sending me a new laser. While Amazon also sent a replacement laser. Instead of going through with a purchase return to Amazon, I chose to return the damaged unit to the ViviLux owner for his own examination. I know by not returning the damaged unit back to Amazon in thirty days, I will be charged for the initial purchase, which is OK. Paid for one and got a free one from ViviLux. The Vivilux company is a first class company who cares about their customers!

Very disappointing. The first one broke while I was trying to adjust the line. The device is very finicky. The manufacturer did replace it as a warranty claim. This item does not work for my machine.

The light is great for sewing HST and especially for machine quilting...don’t need to mark lines. However, I could never get the light to be steady. As my machine vibrates, the light keeps moving. I tried taping it, repositioning it...it still moves. I just line it up on my machine with every seam and check it as I sew.

My wife is using this for quilting and likes it; she no longer needs to mark half-square-triangles but just lines up the corners which she says really saves her time. The only complaint is that it takes a little work to get it aligned and it easily brought out of alignment if bumped. I’m working on an additional support to help with this.
