I bought this to check the dc amps on my stick welder as I suspected the welder display was not accurate (it wasn’t). However this clamp meter has now replaced my normal multi meter in mobile tool kit. This is because it does everything my old meter does as well as the very useful ac voltage and dc current via the clamp ring. This is very useful when tracing no one start electrical faults on vehicles, clamp kit round the power or earth cables and drill down to where your problem is, without having to interrupt the circuit. I read a previous review where someone said you cannot zero the dc clamp reading, you can, you just have to press the “range” button, not the “rel” button like it says in the manual (there isn’t a “rel” button). The only thing you can’t really do with this meter is trace parasitic drawers as the resolution at the miliamp scale is not good enough. You need a low amp clamp meter for that. But for everything else, it’s great.

Ich habe ein Gerät gesucht, mit dem man Gleichstrom messen kann, z. B. am Auto, Modellbau, Solarpanel etc. Leider gibt es einige Amperezangen zum gleichen Preis, die keinen Gleich-, sondern nur Wechselstrom messen können, damit für mich unbrauchbar. Dieses Teil hier macht seinen Job gut, auch Spannungsmessung scheint sehr genau zu sein. Bei Amazon Freitagabend bestellt, Samstag geliefert. Perfekt!

車の DC 電流が測りたかったが日本製は 3万 4万するので 買えなかった それが4000円5000円こうかなちょっとで買えるので 最高 その他いろいろなテストするようなものがついているので またまた良かったです 大満足AC 電流計は持っているが 直流が手頃値段のものはなかった

voltage is reading nearly 1v over what it actually is on a 12v battery. its not reliable.
