Q: Can you put a straw in the lid?

A thin straw? Sure, my sister has been using one with her MagSlide covers for years. But you won’t be able to use a Yeti straw, as they’re too thick. For me, I just bought a Yeti straw lid, which includes that thick straw I just mentioned.

Q: Is it a screw in top?

It doesn't screw on and it doesn't keep things as cold as long as I expected it to. Also the gasket started falling in pieces ! I am very disappointed considering I bought it as a gift. My Dollar General cup keeps ice longer than this
