This short, inexpensive book of questionnaires can give us insight into our emotional IQ. When you finish you will know where you shine and where you need a little polish. Best of all you can do it alone and no one needs to see you answers so maybe you can continue fooling them.

My organization was just experimenting with emotional intelligence based interviews and behavioral questioning. I picked up this book to get a better understanding of the types of things that it involved. This book is a great tool for self evaluation and to get an understanding on improving with areas that may be lower than others. I used the information and tests in this book to self improve and come up with similar ways to evaluate my staff for performance improvement opportunities.

This book was in excellent condition. I used this book for Nursing 451, Nursing Leadership. we had a few assignments based off of the book. The book it really accurate. The book provided insight about me that I was quite aware of already. To see it on paper helped me to see I need to change it. Great book and good price.

I needed this book for a class, and it pretty much met expectations. None of the results were overly surprising, but it can be easily skewed with selective answering.

There is 3 parts to this booklet. The first is an introduction to what aspect of emotional IQ is being tested. The questions are pretty straightforward, though I found that they didn't necessarily illicit an emotional response. The second part of the book is the interpretations of your results. You definitely need intellectual intelligence when reading the answers. I believe most readers will find very little depth in these interpretations, just a lot of college level vocabulary words. Unfortunately I found the interpretations of my results to be completely off base each time too. Instead I found that I fit perfectly into a different score result for almost every test in the book. In all fairness, I did have pretty high expectations for a book that only cost a few dollars. If your just looking for something to pass the time, then go for it otherwise I would pass.

This is a great book. Even though I used it in class, I still found it's very useful. Give me a new angele to review myself and most of all find the weakness.If you just want to use it yourself, I recommend a little self discipline. You gotta follow all the instructions to get accurate results.
