My SD reader had broken on my Nintendo Switch and this kit helped me replace it. Very simple process, looked up on YouTube for what to do and this kit came with everything.

This kit is ok the tools dont always work, one of the screws ended up getting stripped and we couldn't fix the switch

Don't waste your money
The bits stripped out just about every screw they touched, and the SD card readers also would not work. My switch wouldn't go past the logo with it in there. Luckily we realized the old one mightve been seated wrong and tried that one again and it worked fine. Don't waste your money on this. Try the ifixit one instead. Literally anything else but this one.

Worked like a charm. Followed a 2.5-minute YouTube video and was able to get the slot changed in like 15-20 minutes. Saw that professional repairs of this nature can run $100-$200, so this was DEFINITELY worth it.

Everything Needed to Perform the Swap
The thing I liked about this kit was that everything needed to swap about the microsd card reader was included. Screwdriver, different heads, replacement screws (not the best quality), tweezers, and the microsd card reader itself. Job was done easily enough…I think my biggest challenge was keeping all the screws I took out straight.The downside of this kit is that the microsd card reader doesn’t have that “spring” capability like the original. I.E. you have to pull the microsd card out with your fingernail vs that “push it in a bit further” and it springs back out like the original. I probably still would have ordered the kit just because I needed the additional tools, but kind of a bummer to find that out later. Honestly, I probably could have just use this kit to re-seat the existing card reader and it likely would have been fine
