What a great little binder. The push-button opening on the rings is very clever and easy to operate. (Illustrated instructions on the back.) Forget the lethal metallic spring action and nipped fingers of the average British ring binder. It's a nice slim alternative to large-size rings – you could stash several in your bag – but it still manages to hold a lot of sheets. The paper is typically excellent Japanese quality, too, fountain pen friendly, and although this review isn't about the paper, you do get a few sheets included with it.This B5 format is for 26-hole paper, which is widely available in Japan but not in the UK, so you'll need to buy it (also available on Amazon) or invest in a Carl 26-hole punch to make your own. It's worth it because the extra holes means paper stays put. (And you can insert mini note sheets like the ones Maruman makes.)For just over a fiver and free shipping, this file is astonishing value. Time will tell if it stands up to rough handling, but my other Kokuyo products have proved to be pretty robust, so I expect this to be of the same build quality. Like most Japanese stationery, it's thoughtfully designed and a joy to use. The service was good too.

As a student, I take lots of notes so I've seen these being reviewed online a lot and have always wanted to try it. The paper is smooth the design is very simple yet effectiveI love how you can reorganise the pages and I'm excited to keep using itIt's' a bit of a change going from A4 to B5 but I find that having a smaller page makes my notes look neaterBuying it from amazon is also the cheapest place i could get it and it comes with a few pieces of paper inside which was greatI didn't want to splurge on the kokuyo paper so I've opted to get the Muji paper which is just as good n my opinion. Cheaper to buy in the UK and also comes in the same format with 26holes

This is not an A4 notepad so it won’t hold A4 paper beware. But other than that the notepad is great, nice and slim just like advertised. I doesn’t come with a lot of paper so you’ll probably need to buy some loose paper.

I definitely recommend these! They are small but big enough to write useful notes in and are easy to use once you get used to how they work. The only thing I dislike about these binders is that they don't seem to be very sturdy and am quite worried I may break them. Overall, definitely recommend and worth the money!

Good quality and working well for my language class notes

This is NOT A4, it's slightly smaller, which scratches my brain just right.Bought this as it was recommended to me.it's like a folder where you can open it up and swap the layout of pages which is lovely, and very helpful!Ink doesn't run through pages easily! I had to go over permanent marker three times for it to bleed through to the next page.The file itself is very thin, so it fits nicely in bags.Like some questions have noticed you only get a few pages in it, you can also buy more pages separately. Which is cheeky but honestly with it.

Lovely product but the packaging was minimal - just a thin plastic bag. The bag had split open and product damaged. Only one of the folders was intact. One of plastic spines was broken (snapped) and the purple cover had been deformed. Will try to order a new set because they are great but really needs better packaging.

They were a little tricky for me to open at first, but once I figured it out I had no problems. The paper is great as well, I love the dots on the lines to make is easier to use with - for example - math notes. The dots are small enough to not bother me when I'm writing, but large enough to easily use when solving math problems.

I purchased these for my son and took one for myself. I love these notebooks I love the fact that I can add and remove paper. These are spiral notebooks with the benefit of opening up like a binder. The paper is nicer than regular notebook paper, very smooth to the touch. I love writing on this paper. The drawback is that you only get 25 pages in one of these notebooks, and they might only hold as much as 50 sheets. The replacement packs can get expensive as well. They are not as wide as a regular notebook. They are a B5 sized paper. Even though there are some pretty expensive drawbacks I do still love the notebooks and I am happy with the purchase.

Los cuadernos son muy lindos, y las hojas tienen un tinte amarillento cálido. Siempre me han molestado los espirales de los cuadernos al escribir, pero ahora puedo sacar la hoja y simplemente darle vuelta.Hay que tener en cuenta que no tiene capacidad para muchas hojas. Al principio abrir el espiral me parecía complicado pero cuando le agarras la onda ya es fácil, uno hubiera sido suficiente para mi. Lo llevo usando un mes y todo perfecto, gran calidad, kokuyo nunca falla
