I have never previously been able to trim my poodle in one pass with a #7 clipper blade. It took me less than half an hour to body trim my large standard poodle, one pass, light touch up. That's a great deal for me, specially since I could buy about eight of this bade for one commercial grooming session. I'm not sure about sharpening the ceramic blade, but I bought three spares for the price of a sharpening of a steel blade. Tell me where I'm going wrong.

I have a couple of different blades for my dog clippers. I love using the metal blades without the guard , they cut so smooth. Just like the other blades, these do get warm, so I rotate them. This blade cuts good. One thing I didn’t notice when I bought it was that the back blade is plastic. It does show that in the picture of the product, I just didn’t notice it. I needed the blade so I didn’t have time to send it back. I think my blades that don’t have plastic on them are a little smoother, but I am still happy with it. I love that it cuts a little longer than the #10 blade.

I have not used yet on my new Andis clippers but they did fit and7 with ran perfectly .

Perfect length for shaving an undercoat with no damage. Used on my Pomeranian. Smooth cut and no pulling.
