Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaariliant!
My son (4.5yrs) and I have been Shaun the Sheep fans for most of his life. When these DVDs were first released in the UK they were unavailable in the US, and the "region specific" function of DVD players would not play the DVDs we puchased from amazon.co.uk. So, I've formatted and dedicated a DVD player specifically for these DVDs. Spring Lamb is as much fun, if not more so, than Shaun's previous DVDs. Almost as entertaining as wathcing Shaun and friends get into and out of trouble is watching my son roll around on the floor laughing at them. Short enough to not waste too much time in front of the TV; and creative enough so that time spent with Shaun is enjoyed by everyone in the house.

Shaun the Sheep - Spring Lamb [DVD]
We are huge Shaun the Sheep fans. As a matter of fact, we call it our life saver because when my son is out of control upset, it is the only thing that calms him down. We have all of season one which we love. There are some differences between the two seasons with character appearance. You especially notice it on Bitzer and the farmer. Also, on this DVD they do the full beginning and end credits for each episode instead of the little shorts in between the 8 episodes on this disc. Othere than that it is as witty as ever. There are some very funny episodes.

The Pleasure of Knowing Sean
There are so many children's programmes that rely entirely on spurious psychedelic violence. They are often made extra difficult because their speech soundtracks cannot easily surmount the soundtracks of violence.'Sean the Sheep' is an exception. It is British and uses deliciously ironic British humour. The soundtrack hasn't got words so benefits from wonderful visualk situations. This second series follows the high standard of the first series. Changes have been made but they don't deter from the series' high standards

Fab as usual!
The latest 8 episodes of Shaun the Sheep are so good. My particular favourites are "Strictly No Dancing" where the farmer does ballroom with his cat and Shaun tries to stop him!! Also "Hair Today Gone Tomorrow" is the best which the farmer has a date with a lady and loses his treasured toupee and Bitzer and Shaun try to retrieve it back with hilarious results!!Ten out of ten. Do buy!

This will put a spring into your step!
I know that these characters are supposed to be for children, but then I never did grow up!My sides were splitting by the time it had finished. I bought it for my two year old grand-daughter, who squealed with laughter nearly as loud as me. Even my wife said it was fantastic!! The mind boggles at what they will come up with next - keep them coming, please I can't wait for the next one.

rainy day happiness with shaun the sheep
This DVD is brilliant; a real family giggle from start to finish. We watched it as a family of greatgrandmama (85), grandparents, mummy and daddy, little boys aged 5 and 2;and loved it. Really useful for rainy cold days, the antics of the flock and Shauns heroic leadership skills are captivating. It works as repeat watching, you spot something new each time.Highly reccommended !

Always nice to meet Shaun and his (new) friends again
Always nice to meet Shaun and his (new) friends again, but i must say that (in my opinion) the best episodes belong to the past.
