Great book
I am trained in the Montessori method but wanted more ideas on how to use her principles with my own children. I've found the book very useful and quite practical so far in designing and decorating the bedroom for my, yet to arrive, first born. Time will tell whether everything works but based on my experiences with Montessori so far, it's really grounded in science and child development, so with a little patience and effort really seems to have great results. The book is well written and easy to read, and I'd definitely recommend it.

There is a lot of useful information in this book but I miss more illustrations and pictures. Sometimes it is hard to imagine what is described.

easy to read
sometimes I have difficulty in understanding some phrases or technical words when I am reading books in English. But this one is super easy to read and understandable in all ways. Besides the information given is very helpful especially if you have a baby or toddler.

An excellent reference book
I cannot recommend this book highly enough to people who are or aren't aware of montessori. Brilliant practical information and examples in relation to all aspects of a baby and young child's environment and its impact on their experiences. I refer back to this book constantly and have also bought copies for my child's grandparents to help them understand why our son doesn't have a cot for example. Buy it - it will open your eyes

Super inteligent book all-in-one
The book is quite hard to read due to very small details it shows. If you are purchasing one book for Montessori and you want deep explanations it is the one.

The instructions book every parent wants and needs
This was the first book read about parenting while pregnant and it opened my eyes about what I will experience with my baby and how much I can influence him from his first days.

Very Good Book
Even though I bought this book 2nd hand, it was in perfect condition as though new, only some stamps that show it used to be a library book. The book is very very good. It explains concepts well and gives very practical examples as to how to apply the concepts.

Disturbing and unpractical
There are so any reasons why I hate this book... 1. Put your newborn baby on a double bed size tatami, hang some things over him, close the door and let him entertain himself for some hours to foster his independence. 2. New mothers are incapable to make the right decision for their babies because they are sleep deprived. They need to be told what to do. 3. Enforce it from day one that your child is not the center of the universe. 4. It’s best to stop breastfeeding after 8-9 months. I would have burnt this book if it wasn’t on my iPad.

Informative and helpful
I have just started reading it and already found it really informative. I have already read one book on the montessori way of raising a child and am really excited to read this book also. The language is easy to understand.

This book will change your life.
If you, parent that read this book, open yourself for changes, you will be able to recreate your relationship with your baby in a way that you could never imagine.Seen the baby as an individual that doesn't need help, but only guidance to independence will give both of you a relationship based on trust, confidence, friendship and love.Take this opportunity to change yourself and realizing things that you've lived in your own childhood that you now know it wasn't good for you. To recognize that you've suffered and be better than that with your kid will heal you and show you a whole new world of possibilities.
