Great nail file, I have had one for a few months and love it and am buying a second one so my wife does not need to keep borrowing mine :)

This file works well. One comment was that the grip is too small for a man's big hands, but - as a normally-sized, 5'11" 190 pound man - I'd say you should not need more than a thumb and 2 fingers to use a nail file (you're not doing metal work with this). I like that it's all-metal, and I like its sheath.

This file has two different surfaces, one is micro fine. The coarser surface reminds me of high quality European metal files from the 1970s before “diamond” files were introduced. This is just plain better. The file can cut down natural nail much more rapidly than a diamond file, and it is a cleaner cut than a comparably coarse disposable file (for acrylic nails.) The finer side has etched circles and looks ineffective. It is barely rough at all. In reality it is one of the best files I have ever had for precise, fine shaping of natural nails.Purchased several metal files at the same time to compare and this was the true winner. By a lot. The sheath is a vegan “leather.” It looks like it will hold up over time. The board underneath is a precisely fitted piece of solid cork. It could probably be repurposed.This is a great find!

Lost an old triple cut nail file I had forever, so was just loooking for a basic nail file I could use after trimming my nails with a clipper. Apparently that's harder than it seems.Bought a decent looking German one here on Amazon and it was just way too coarse, like maybe you use it instead of a nail clipper or something. Went to the local pharmacy store and got a finer one, not a triple cut, but with little stones embedded in it, and that was too fine, like spend five minutes trying to get a point nailed down.Been using the two together for about a year and just got tired of it. I'm a dude, I don't really want having multiple files, especially when traveling.This time ordered four differend kinds here after looking around, and this one was my favorite (ordered another right after I got it). I love the small size, the two textures, the sleeve, and the overall quality of it.Speaking of quality, one of the varieties I tried was a set of three, with the smaller one looking identical to this one in pictures, with the three together being the same price as this. Thought maybe it was just a rebranded kind of thing, but the three pack was of significantly worse quality, and after receiving that I ordered another one of these (three total now).One of the other metal ones I tried was close to what I was looking for, but as a total package this one is hard to beat. One is going in my travel pack, one on my desk, and one for backup in case I lose it again.

Seems like it will last a long time. Impressise quality, very sturdy, nice storge sleve. Might be on the small side for some people to hold and use easily.

I needed a file that would fit in a small clutch. And I wanted a cover so it wouldn't snag/stab things. This file is the perfect size for small spaces, and the cover stays attached.The file is metal with one side fine, and the other is course. I find the course undesirable, but the fine side makes up for it. I got one for each of my daughters after they used mine and kept "borrowing" it.'Nuff said.

It is a good quality file. It is coarse on one side and fine on the other. It had a leather sheathe, but it doesn’t seem to be very well made.
