Q: how long is the life span in one can? like how 3-4 times before its out?

This is relative to room size and thickness and dispersion containment. If applied for film use for atmosphere- (this is not a fog machine) you will get avg 7 -10 scenes shot in a 12x12 contained room... think base applying in camera talent area and then some small retouches.. again this is relative.

Approximately 3 1/2 minutes per spray

Q: How long does the haze last in the air before its too thin? 5 minutes? How many cans would you need to do a 20minute video shoot to get rays of light?

It is highly dependent on the environment you are in. If you are in a controlled studio with no ac vents blowing, it can last quite a while. If you're outside and the wind is blowing you will probably need to spray continuously. I wouldn't shoot a video with less than 6 cans on hand. Thanks!
