Double Safe Hunter (Orange) / 8 3/8" Overall / 3

This is reminiscent of the old Cold Steel Voyager, of which I still own one (See photo. Voyager black handle, larger model.). Very light weight. Great EDC if a bit large in the pocket. Negatives, blade is8Cr13MoV stainless steel. It's a decent knife steel, but difficult to sharpen. Holds edge well. The action is smooth, and the lock back works well, the problem I've had with some cold steel folders in which the lockback was very stiff. This is going to be my EDC for a while. Oh yes it does have the double safe lock which protects the accidental opening of the knife. I can't say very much more a nice knife, nylon filled handle which I believe the old Voyager was G10 scales, not quite positive on that. This knife for what you get and the price highly recommended. It will take a little time to put a better Edge on it than that which it comes with but it's worth the effort.

Im a bus mechanic and farmer. I use a knife everyday for everything from cuttin twine and wires to cutting up my lunch.I have used them all. $200 knives and $20 knives. They all get dull and all fall apart.This one doesn’t. Im getting 2-3 years use. Holds and edge well and screws stay tight. Allows simple 1 handed operation to open.Just like the American express card never leave home without it.I love this knife

Nice grip but handle feels and looks cheap. I do not care for the blade lock. Only semi sharp. I do like the size and belt clip.

I’m an industrial electrician, I wanted a good knife to have at work and not be afraid of cutting. I mainly bought this for the price and the double lock. It was what I expected a lower end knife that I can beat in in harsh environment. I was able to put a good edge myself on it.The double lock, while good my brother was able to defeat it since he didn’t know you have to un engage it before opening. Although once it’s open the lock does prevent it from closing.I would buy again .

Excellent quality

Can’t tighten the pivot as one side has no tool interface and rotates in the plastic handle. Other CS knives get away with not using liners as the handles are generally thick slabs of G10. The handle on this knife is all plastic, so the knife flexes during use. The color looks more peach than orange. Keep looking. Too many corners cut.
