Long time glasses wearer, got my first plastic frames a couple years ago and learned quickly that not all will sit on your nose properly. So glad I found these!A couple of points I've learned from using the GMS Optical brand of nose pads:1. Clean your frames with non-oily or non-residue products before putting the pads on your glasses. I like to use an alcohol pad then I wipe with a damp paper towel and let dry before putting on a fresh pair. Any residue on your frames will cause the adhesive to breakdown faster.2. You get a better (longer) attachment if you do not touch the adhesive when installing. I use a pair of tweezers to help position them.3. They are NOT permanent. You will have to replace every so many weeks/months depending on things like how oily your skin is, if you sweat a lot, makeup usage, etc.4. Make sure to position them evenly/at the same height to ensure your glasses sit evenly.5. The gummy-gluey back will start to pill up the longer you have them on. This is usually an indication that the adhesive is wearing down and your pads will soon need replaced.6. Do not use alcohol based products to clean your glasses as it can get on the pads and start to break down the adhesive. I use warm, soapy water and a cotton cloth to clean and minimize scratching.If you have read this entire review, thank you! I have been looking for these all my life...and then it took me awhile to figure out how to make them work as I expected. I put them, or ones like them, on all of my sunglasses and they help keep the frames from sliding down my nose (most of the time), as well as narrowing the space between the lenses. I'm asian and essentially have no nose bridge. I usually have to buy glasses with those wire nose pad thingies since most eyewear designers don't always make frame styles with my face shape in mind. These adhesive pads help to close that gap. I use this particular model on frames that have smaller lenses and a higher bridge. I use thicker adhesive nose pads for frames with larger lenses and a lower bridge. These nose pads and the the thicker ones can also help to lift the frames away from the face a bit. If you've ever had that problem where the bottom of your frames touch your cheeks when you smile, or the top of your frames graze your eyebrows, or your lenses fog up from not enough air circulation, you know what I mean. Durability wise, I change mine out every few months since they're exposed to heat, sweat, sunblock and make-up; and sometimes the adhesive just gives out and you lose one.

It’s a medium hard silicone nose pad that’s preshaped.Ease: It’s easy to press on frames.Durability: the adhesive will eventually loosen over time especially if cleaned regularly. I prefer this as I don’t want the pads to stick on permanently to my frames.Overall: Gives just enough lift but this will depend on your needs. I can see it not working for those who need more clearance between their glasses and cheeks.

It easily comes off and leave the sticky part on the eyeglasses.

Adhesion is key to a product like these. If it can't stay on for a reasonable amount of time, no matter how well it doesn't slip and comfortable it is, it's all useless. I've used up my pack of nose pads within 1.5 month. The product has two main components. The pad and the adhesive tape on the underside of the pad that sticks to the glasses. The adhesive side between the glass and the adhesive tape itself is great, but the adhesive between the tape and the pad is terrible. It's not strong enough. The pads always ends up coming off of the tape. The tape is still on the glasses really well. If the manufacturer can fix this issue, it will be a game changer. But I doubt it. I'd recommend those looking in the reviews to avoid this product if you're looking to not constantly change the pads every week or few days.

The pads are super soft, contoured perfectly, and provide excellent grip without irritating my skin. I especially like the longer 18mm length, which fits my medium-to-large Oakley sunglasses frames much better than standard sizes.Installation is easy—just peel and stick—and they stay in place for weeks even with daily wear in hot weather. No more slipping glasses or red marks on my nose. The clear silicone is discreet and doesn’t change the look of my frames.Highly recommend for anyone needing a better fit or extra grip for glasses or sunglasses!

These are comfortable and easy to stick on. I love the anti-slip because it keeps my glasses from slipping down.
