Gun Safe Replacement Lock Chrome Digital Keypad Electronic Lock, Solenoid Safe Lock Mechanism, 14 Pin DIY Safe Lock

So, just a quick review here to counter a couple bad reviews that I saw on this replacement lock set. I was hesitant to buy this based upon some reviews saying it wasn't right, or it didn't fit. But I did the smart thing and compared the pictures in the listing to what was installed on my safe. This IS the EXACT same stuff that originally came with my Stack-On safe. I mean really, EXACT; same fit, same look, same quality. I had ZERO issues installing this or programming it. It only took about 15 minutes to install and my safe now works like new again. If you bought this and it didn't work for you; then you either bought the wrong stuff or you should never touch tools and attempt mechanical things again in your life! Don't believe the naysayers; if you buy the right replacement set this will work perfectly for you. If you know how to use a screwdriver; this set will work perfectly for you. Glad I bought this set, and I'll buy another if I ever need one again. Perfect!

Rarely write reviews, but I find it ridiculous that I had a key pad malfunction in about a year of owning my Canon Gun Safe!.....I saw, like many were frustrated with this same problem after spending a good grip of money to keep our valuables and guns protected for a lifetime warranty safe. So, instead of pain staking customer service calls I read about, I came upon this replacement key pad. It was easy to replace if you have the Canon type B keypad. I replaced everything except the reset button (kept the one that was there) which I figured was not any part of the malfunction. Besides some color variation of the motherboard, the whole system seemed exactly the same. I hope this helps anyone whom is experiencing the same issue, of draining battery, some numbers would not work, and a constant yellow light accompanied by a beeping every few seconds! Hopefully this lasts longer than the original, working like a charm so far!

Had to returnLock did not work for replacement on Canon 64 gun safe

Went to retrieve a gun from my Canon safe and the keypad wouldn’t work. Replaced the battery with no luck. I looked into getting the keypad replaced under warranty but it was a lot easier to buy this and replace it myself. This is an exact replacement for the keypad and lock mechanism on my safe, EXCEPT for one detail. The ribbon cable that connects the keypad to the circuit board is too short. It doesn’t allow the circuit board to be mounted in its original location. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if they had made the cable a couple inches longer. Other than that it’s fine so far. The short cable is the reason for a 4/5 star rating.

Good stuff! Called a lock smith, he told me try yourself 1st & if failed call him back. So I tried & it was fairly easy! Works like new! Saved $$$ I recommend it 100% if you’re a DIY kinda person.

It fit perfectly in my Stack-On Elite. The switch over took about 20-30 minutes. All parts fit without any issues.I don’t know how long it will last but it seems identical to the one that came out of my safe. Did not come with installation instructions, only programming the new code instructions. They really weren’t needed but would have been helpful.

Was an exact replacement for the original one. Works great.
