Our TRENDnet PoE Injector and meets the PoE standards listed below. 802.3af – PoE 15.4 watts 802.3at – PoE+ 30 watts In order for other devices to be powered by our injectors. The devices must also meet one of these standards in order to get power. These standard are also called active PoE because the voltage will change in the device being powered in the range of voltage PoE provided in the standard. Hope this helps! TRENDnet PoE Injectors and switches meets some or all the PoE standards listed below. 802.3af – PoE 15.4 watts 802.3at – PoE+ 30 watts 802.3bt – PoE++ or 4PPoE 60 – 100 watts In order for other devices to be powered by our switches or injectors. The devices must also meet one of these standards in order to get power. These standards are also called active PoE because the voltage will change in the device being powered in the range of voltage PoE provided in the standard. Passive PoE devices are a set voltage in PoE. This is not the voltage a camera, phone, access point, etc. get from the power adaptor. (Example: TRENDnet sell cameras that use a 12v power adaptor, but those cameras are also PoE standard.) It is a set voltage from the PoE, if this is the case TRENDnet injectors or switches will not work. (Exception of our point-to-point access points). Typically, if someone ask for something like 24v or 48v of PoE it’s a passive device. Hope this helps!
