Looks are A-1 Heavy piece that exudes quality, and at this price it is a wonderful deal. I have put away all of my most expensive for weeks at a time, to wear this watch. Quartz makes a sharp time keeper. Isn’t this what a watch is for? So sharp timekeeping and great looks. What else is there?

Bought my son 2 different watches for Xmas - a black one with a rubberized band for work, and this one for other occasions. It is very attractive and masculine and he loves it - a lot - so its got that going for it. The band is one of the only real leather bands at this price point, and the suede look really looks nice. Only time will tell (ha!) if the watch is durable and reliable. 5-stars

Li alguns comentários e fique com receio, mas achei lindo o relógio e comprei… como gosto de nadar, demorei para entrar na água com ele, mas deu tudo certo. Uso na natação, e deu tudo certo. Gostei.. Relogio bonito, e do jeito que gosto… só fiquei um pouco cuidadoso pois o vidro do relógio é levemente abaulado para fora, então tem que tomar cuidado, receio de bater e trincar, mas espero que não aconteça. Mas valeu a compra

As the title says this is the fifth Benyar watch, I have acquired. I did not understand the notice about the dead battery. Why would they do that? The dead battery statement is in front of every paragraph in the offer. But the watch did catch my eye another interpretation of a Seamaster. I have had very good experience with this brand after buying Seikos and Pulsars for the past 20+ years. So I thought it was worth the chance once I learned more about the why?I contacted Benyar and they explained that the watches sat in the Amazon Warehouse too long so that the batteries died. So the watch retail cost was discounted to $29. They assured me that the opening the watch to put in a new battery would not void the warranty. I took a chance and ordered one.UPDATE: to clear out inventory the price was reduced to $9.99. I think they are now sold out, there is a new model out that sells for $39.Put in a new battery SR920SW or #371. Watch is working perfectly. Perfect time. Chronograph functions perfectly. Right now its is one of the best bargains I could find. Uses a Sunon PE903 movement which is a copycat of Seiko but not as precise. It is supposed to be more power hungry so the battery will last 2 years instead of 4. Glass is hardlex and the watch is labeled for 100 meters water resistance.The best part is find out that the watch had an AR (anti-reflective) coating on the crystal. You can see it when the lens is tilted and you can see a bluish tint. The difference in bright sunlight is startling. But I purchased 5 of these watches at the special $9.99 price, and they all had this coating. I sent two back because it was hard to get the time precise when the crown is pulled out to postion one. It is by feel, instead of a firm click on like on the Seiko watches.Day 1... Day 28 all good, stay tuned, I will continue to update.
