Q: Do you think this rug would hold up in a high traffic area like a family room (with a toddler)?!

Its not pure white its more of between a white and grey? This is good for high traffic since stains dont show as much... and I have a dog, it seems to hold up well. Ive also used a variety of cleaners on it (spilled red wine, tracked in mud, etc) and it doesnt seem to keep in stains (and doesnt seem like the rug itself is colorfast). So, good color, easy to clean - good for high traffic in my view.

Q: Is this rug plush or woven? If it is woven, then my dog's nails will bring up the material and unweave it. Does anyone have this rug with pets?

Its plush. Ive had it for a year and my dog hasnt done any damage to it.

The rug will not harm hardwood floors but a pad may be useful to prevent any slippage.

Rug is smooth to the touch, not scratchy. Typical area rug. My large dog loves laying on it.
