Q: Are these tsa approved for carry on?

No- I checked and TSA said the seat belt cutter counted as a blade.

Q: Where is this product manufactured?

While a small fraction of their components are sourced internationally, Leatherman continues to get most of their materials from the U.S. and does all of their manufacturing and assembly in their Portland, OR factory.

Q: does this come with the Belt sheath

Yes. It comes with a hard plastic belt holder that secures the scissors securely. And the holder fits tightly to the belt so it does not slip off.

Q: how do I get my name added to a blade ?

You have to order directly from Leatherman for laser etching. Their website has a customize option where you can design patterns, drawings, different fonts for names, even upload your own photo.
