Not hard to program.
Not bad, not great. First set arrived DOA. Replacements seem to be working fine and were easy to program.

So easy to program!
It was so easy to program these and it’s nice I can now leave one in the car and one in the hallway. It literally took 5 seconds to program.

Received two of these and neither one works.
We purchased these for our Craftsman 1/2 HP garage door openers (with purple learn buttons). In each case we followed the instructions to first close the garage doors, then enter program mode, then hit the appropriate button on the remote while holding it close to the garage door opener and wait for the light to blink, then release. All of that happens, but then the remote won't operate the garage door opener. Literally does nothing (although the little LED on the remote does light up when the button is pressed). We tried clearing the garage door memory and programming from scratch - nothing. We tried programming with the doors closed, with the doors open - nothing. After clearing the memory we successfully programmed the original Craftsman remotes again (one of which has a broken switch but can still be made to function). They programmed perfectly and worked instantly. So clearly this product is what isn't working. What was especially annoying was that there was no information anywhere about customer or tech support. No phone number, no email, no website. After looking and Googling we got on an online chat with Amazon support and they couldn't find any contact information either. So we took a refund. This does raise the question in my own mind about whether the 2600 positive reviews for this product on this site are real. With remotes that don't reliably work (not one button on either of these remotes works with either one of two different Craftsman garage door openers), and no way to contact support, the nearly all-positive reviews seem a bit suspicious.Caveat emptor.
