Fun Humorous Book for those in their 70s, 80s and 90s...
I'm in my 50s and this book is supposed to be for anyone over 50! I read it from cover to cover and I think it is probably aimed at an audience in their 70s, 80s and 90s.If you are in your 50s or 60s you will notice a few things of relevance in the cartoons. I could relate to wanting all slip on shoes, reading glasses, bras that fasten in front and people starting to call me ma'am. Although some people who are charming say "Miss Rebecca" which is cute. The hobbies and pursuits by decade got a laugh out of me. There are some interesting ideas for what to ask a person to guess their actual age instead of the age they say they are!So basically this book is filled with funny cartoons, quotes and jokes. The best quote in the book was: "You grow up the day you have your first real laugh at yourself." ~ Ethel BarrymoreEnjoy!~The Rebecca Review

Very cute book for birthday gift!
The jokes in this book are quite nice and are suitable for all ages. No crude jokes in the book. My husband and I both enjoyed he book.

I used to love reading these
I used to love reading these. I didn't find the antecdotes quite as funny in this addiction. Could it be that I'm getting older and it's not so funny any longer? But, I have read better versions of these kind of books.

For all those seniors who were fortunate to live this long this book will keep you laughing, or at least smiling.
I personally hate growing old, but since it is better than the alternative, I realize it is something I will have to adjust to until they discover the real “fountain of youth.” One of the ways to cope with aging is keeping your sense of humor. Since I am now in the category of being an old man I am always searching for something to laugh about.I picked up this little 127 page volume (What’s so funny about getting old? by Ed. Fischer and Jane Thomas Noland) for a bargain price on Amazon. This book has a combination of quotes, quips, cartoons and other humorous insights into growing old. If one can keep laughing it makes growing old not just bearable but also a lot of fun. Laughing can also relieve stress and keep you looking at the bright side.Until they discover the real fountain of you this humorous book will keep you smiling and laughing. Any person who is into their 60s (they claim 50-plus, which in my opinion is still very young) and above will find something to laugh about in this book.Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Haiku Moments: How to read, write and enjoy haiku).

It wasn't that funny.
It didn't humor me or make me feel I couldn't wait to pick it up again. I would not buy this again.
