you can certainly play with the logs and Lego blocks together but the pieces from logs do not fit ones to Legos; Legos snap together, the logs stack one on another.

no the are not the same as I remember. They did not fit together very well. I had to do a lot of trimming to work. I would get Lincoln Logs if possible.
