A great metal detector to start a potentially profitable hobby
Great metal detector. Easy to use right out of the box! As soon as the weather in Michigan cleared up enough to use it, I was out in my own backyard. 5 minutes after turning it on, I found my first coin. Okay, it was only a penny, but it was eight inches under my lawn. I'll admit it hasn't paid for itself yet, but I am confident it will some day.Most importantly, the Garrett ACE 400 is well designed, very easy to use and effective for finding coins, jewelry, relics and old nails and bottle caps. I highly recommend it!

Good machine, good value for occasional detecting
This is a good detector, easy to assemble and operate, good value for the price if used for occasional detecting or a back up detector. Has a decent target ID and gives solid reading between 2 and 8 inches deep. Made in the usa from garrett the ace 400 does have a slight cheap feel to it compared to at pro ( to be excpected at almost half the price) all and all I am happy with the craftsmanship, the price and the operation of machine, if on a budget this is the way to go.

Awesome bundle for price
Great bundle for price!!! It comes with everything you see in the picture. Everything is waterproof on the detector except for the display but it comes with a rain cover. The handheld scanner is completely waterproof. The handheld scanner also comes with a carrying pouch that you can wear on your belt.

Awesome Metal Detector
I bought this as my first metal detector. I found it really easy to use. The instruction manual is well written. I also found the youtube videos really handy. I was able to easily work this detector right out of the box.

Love it
I'm fairly new to md and I love this machine it has found alot of things with it the best thing it have found so far is a 1905 V nickel. This machine loves to find cons.
