We were finally to install these a few months ago after a number of reno delays. We installed them in our basement family room as access to the electrical panel and the furnace utility area while reducing the visual clutter of numerous doors. I am really pleased with how well they function; they hold both 24" and 32" slab doors perfectly closed yet release easily when pressure is applied. We only used one latch per door. They are quite easy to adjust to ensure you get that even opening you want in an invisible door while maintaining a secure latch closure. Would highly recommend.

I used this latch for my 1 3/8" 'hidden' door. Initial thought was that it was too long an extension when released, but this is necessary to allow one to get hold of the door to open it, as the magnet holds on fairly tightly when catch and plate are properly aligned.
