Bought this as I was sick of issues with VAX, I’ve had 2 break and had to be completely replaced. The last one, we misplaced a rubber seal that must have dropped off when emptying it, VAX don’t do spare parts for this item, you have to buy a complete new VAX. I remembered my mother having one of these and back then it was made by Hoover, I’ve bit the bullet, more out of anger with VAX, and to be very honest, this cleans carpets just as good, it dries them better and has a bigger water tank, and it’s way cheaper. Up yours VAX ✌️

It is nice and light so easy to carry up stairs. It is easy to use and assemble. It is good for small homes as the water tank is only 2 litres. I'm very happy with it.

excellent machine that does a good job. For someone who cannot handle heavy machines this is great and reasonably lighweight. Very powerful motor and subsequently rather noisy but not a problem

This carpet cleaner is well priced, and although it cleans well, has a number of flaws which prospective buyers should be aware of. The cleaner is bulky and it's hard to use on stairs. It doesn't come with any attachments so you have to manhandle it about and tight corners are a challenge. The container for the clean water is easy to knock out and quite fiddly. I managed to break it on the first day when it fell out on a hard surface (still usable but now even easier to dislodge). Frustratingly, a couple of times once the dirty water container gets full you empty it. All good so far, but then it seems not to work (it sucks up the dirty water as you pull the machine back) - you check it's properly in place and that the filter is ok, but still nothing. Then next time it works fine again. The other annoyance is unlike some other carpet cleaners the front part doesn't come apart to clean it - so bits of hair etc remains lodged until you find a screwdriver (I haven't found the courage to do this yet). Finally, not Vytronix's fault, but there seems a real absence of helpful YouTube videos to put you right.

The container that holds the water leaks and you lose all your clean water. Possible the valve not working properly

Brilliant.lightweight,small.easy to push.easy to empty. Good value for money and good quality.have to be careful not to break the tank as it's quite delicate to take apart to empty and i can see that I'm going to be too heavy handed and break an essential part.

Very light and durable. Easy to use and better value than some of the more expensive brands I have bought which have fallen to bits!!!Highly recommend.
