Q: Can I use this product behind a fridge to reduce sound from a noisy fridge compressor?

Luxury Liner is a noise blocker, so if you were trying to block the noise from coming through the wall you could attach it to a wall to stop the noise from coming through, but not attach it to the back (hot) side of a fridge. Sound blockers need to be between the noise source and where you don't want the noise source to go, as full as coverage as possible to block the noise. Sometimes, if it is a vibration noise, you can open the fridge casing an apply vibration mats like Damplifier Pro to the walls.

Q: Will this work under a rug on hardwood floors to mute out my downstairs neighbor?

You would need to use Luxury Liner Mass Loaded Vinyl across the entire floor area (not just in one spot or scattered here and there), seal every seam and gap in the mass loaded vinyl tight with a vinyl adhesive, and fill any gaps you have in the baseboard all with acoustic caulk to reduce the audible sound from neighbors voices, TV's, etc. It still would not totally block out impact noise like stuff hitting the floor.

Q: Would this work well to deaden the noise of my inverter generator thats inside a cargo department in my RV? Or would something else work better?

I think so. We used it to wrap drain pipes in the ceiling of a basement apartment bathroom. We used duct tape to fasten it. Not a pretty wrapping job but it helped a lot. You can still hear a little bit but it’s very muffled and not loud at all.

Q: Is this enough to cover a front door?

The sheet is 24" x 54", so as long as your front door isn't larger than that, you will be good. It covers most vehicle doors.
