The ristriction is not the lock type, it's the lock cylinder it has to be a Euro Lock Cylinder.

You need to use the Yale Access app

Q: Question: can this lock activate the bolt WITHOUT a door handle? And if so, where’s the rest of the kit, I.e bolt, strike plate etc?

Short Answer: Yes it can. The lock turning mechanism works by slotting the key into the device. However without a door handle it might be hard to calibrate the door with the yale device. Note: you must have a euro cylinder that’s capable of locking on the both sides whilst another key stays in on the other side.
