These are fun models to put together.

Great product. If you know someone who like 3-d puzzles or models I recommend this highly. They are small so some of the pieces maybe tricky to get and install. It is recommended to use tweezers or needle nose pliers to bend the tabs to lock the pieces into place, I highly recommend doing it that way. I got these for my nephews 12 and 14 and though i was worried that it would be too difficult for my youngest nephew, he sat there until he had the item completely set up.

I purchased this product nearly six months ago. I was able to assemble it within a couple of days but it required at most attention to details and a pair of tweezers. In my opinion assembling this in bare hands is difficult.After the model was ready, It had to be maintained very carefully because a fall from 3-4 feet would break the model. It could be a little sturdier.

This is one of the best gifts! For the price the amount of entertainment is great. It will take hours and hours to even put together one model. Great first for people who like to work with their hands.

What I expected: Fully formed pieces ready to just snap together that came out of a box.What I got: Each model comes in two sheets of steel plates that have been laser cut. It's not hard to take them out of the sheet, but then you have to bend, round and shape them yourself. Some of the parts are so tiny, that when gripping with tweezers to try and put the microscopic tabs into the microscopic slots, the part flies out of the tweezers and flings itself across the room. It took me more than 20 minutes on my hands and knees to find one. Dropped it 6 times before I finally got into the holes and then another 5 minutes of struggle to bend the locking tabs so it wouldn't come out. R2-D2 is the only one I have started so far.3 hrs in and I have only finished the dome and the body. No legs yet. This is too hard for someone starting out. I bought 2 sets for my brother for Christmas. I was going to build one set for him in case he didn't have time to do it himself and then he would have the other set to keep as collector sets, or build when he wanted. I think I am going to have to get him something else and just eat the 75 bucks I spent.To be clear, this is NOT the fault of the model makers. I've seen some excellent pictures of these put together. But these are NOT for someone who doesn't do this as a hobby. I wish the product description had been WAAAAAAAY more clear about what these are!

These are great for the hard-to-buy-for tween. My son is 11 and it was a challenge for him but he enjoyed it. Definitely a lot harder than putting together a lego set.

This item is nice but much smaller than expected. The size is most likely in the description but I didn’t look. Always take a few more minutes to read about what you’re buying. But like I said, it is a nice item!

I have enjoyed putting these together. Some are amazed with how nice they look and that they are metal.
