I hadn’t rated RB or her 1st book The Secret but I immediately ‘recognised’ what she was saying during this podcast . Later I flicked through my gazillion books and it was all there hiding in plain sight.I purchased the book and it sat on the coffee table unread for over two weeks and was read only as the quiet joy began to fade

The Greatest Secret by Rhonda ByrneThis is a mind blowing book and a must read for everyone.I have wanted to read this book for a while and finally got round to it. From what I have heard about the book (podcast with Dr Mindy Pelz / Fearne Cotton with Rhonda) it indicated that it will help with my mental mind chatter or at least to better understand it, and it's certainly done that and more. I have noticed a massive positive difference in my whole being and so has everyone else.The input from several thought leaders is brilliant, and makes the book and conversation very interesting, well explained and a joy to read. Everyone of us can relate to the situation or scenario laid out that our mind and thoughts do.It has increased my reading list in exploring these people's books and websites.There are simple practices in the book to help you be the happy, joyful and conscious being all the time.I am truly grateful to Rhonda for this book, it really has changed my life for the better. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.I have also read The Magic, again another brilliant read.My next read is The Secret, which I am looking forward to. Both by Rhonda Byrne.

This book is something to study, multiple times. It really does have the greatest secret, but you have to be ready. You have to be willing and you have to commit.I've read it several times and find myself reading it and going back a chapter or two all over again, there is so much to learn and you want to learn it. You will be indebted to yourself for the rest of your life.The first part is dedicated to quotes from other teachers who have found freedom this way, it can be off putting to start with but once you understand why it has been written this way you find yourself reaching backwards for quotes that now make sense.I'm so grateful the author has done all the work and pulled many many wonderful rescouces from so many amazing teachers all into one book - it is a life's work.There are exercises to try and when you finally get it and they work it's like winning the lottery.But, as I've said in the title - you have to be ready.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!I loved this book. I feel like it has opened my mind and opened my soul up.It's not like her other books. It is less materialistic and more spiritual, deeply spiritual. That's not to say you can't still attract all your worldly desires. But this book deals with Higher Power, God as Higher Consciousness.The main thrust of it, and this is summarising some amazing points, is that we are not the finite, limited human beings who dwell in our earthly bodies. We are all a part of the God Consciousness/Awareness that is all that is. Period.And when you start to become aware that you are Awareness then your whole life can open up. Everything in life is just a dream, an illusion, what the Hindus call maya. Even birth and death are an illusion. We are a part of God, we cannot die! You can't extinguish consciousness.This is all pretty mind-blowing stuff.Much better than just putting in your cosmic order for a beachfront apartment and a red Ferrari.I am going to read Awareness by Anthony Mello, SJ, and The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle next. I have them on my bookshelf.I can understand the many one and two star reviews. The Secret this is not. But The greatest secret? Quite possibly. And more life changing too.I look forward to seeing how my life develops after reading this book.
