MSR WindBurner 8-Inch Ceramic Nonstick Camping and Backpacking Skillet

I've been cooking lots of spam and rice packets on this thing. Gotta cook it slow and it does a good job! Cleans easily when it's not burnt on. Perfect for a meal for my family of 3. I backpack it in so I don't even notice the e yra weight.

I bought this propritery skillet to go with my MSR Windburner Duo. Be forewarned, this is the only skillet that will work with any of the three MSR Windburner stoves. Also, MSR currently does not offer a lid for this skillet which I think is asinine. I don't know if the lids for either of the two Windburner pots would work, but their description of the pots does not say. Also, MSR does not have a phone number at all to contact customer service...email is the only option which for me, is frustrating. Overall, I think it's a good skillet altho I have yet to cook anything with it. I've seen reviews that it does not distribute heat well and that the Windburner stoves are not known for their ability to simmer, but they can sure boil water in a hurry. Hope this is helpful to someone!

Great device. Solid. Problems are minor, but no igniter and the skillet does not nest are biggest gripes.

With lower heat, this distributed heat with Wind Burner stove better than I thought it would. If you have a Wind Burner I would recommend getting this to go with it. It is expensive. But it is a unique specialty item.

Doesnt last long. But fid last much longer than the MSR Windburner. And MSR dimply refused to honor their warrenty.
