Limited usefulness
There are many of these projection adaptors on the market but their usefulness is totally limited to a small fraction of the eyepieces people use in telescopes today. What these vendors never tell you is the inside diameter (or length inside) which determines the main body diameter of eyepiece you can use. It's fine to say "1.25 inch fitting" but that's just the barrel size. Eyepiece bodies can be much wider and this adaptor limits you to very narrow bodied eyepieces (which are not always the best quality and which you wish to use). I find it amazing these vendors omit the inside diameter in their specs. It wouldn't be too much more cost to manufacture such with wider inside diameters. There are such available but at ridiculous cost. Bresser makes one, for example but the lowest price I can find it at is £55!!! Ridiculous!
