Q: Does it have an internal fuse

Hi Jeremy. This is like a normal internal socket in your house. The only difference is, this has a weatherproof housing. This socket would be fed from your main consumer unit and would be covered by an MCB, RCD or an RCBO. We always recommend that any electrical product is installed by a fully qualified electrician.

Q: Does anyone know to mount this on a wall, there is no mounting bracket on the back?

There are recessed hole's in the back oh the socket , drill them out and fix the socket to the wall then use the supplied filler caps to cap off the fixing holes , this makes the socket weather proof and should stop any water from getting into the socket

Q: What are the true outside dimensions of the unit?

170 long x 150 high x 70 deep the 150 includes the fastener clips of which there are two. These measurements are maximum overall as I can’t get right up to the unit as the cars parked up.

Q: How do you earth this?

The casing is plastic as is the socket. The earth connection is in the double socket and wires into the domestic ring main.
