Will this fit a small kids hand better than the regular Zebco 33? The regular is just a bit big for my 3 year old.

The reel is just about half the diameter as the 33. The handle is the same size as the 33. If your 3 year old can at least try with the 33 he or she should be able to use the Micro. Way to go at getting them started early. :-)

how do you takethe front cover off to respool line

take the front of the reel where your string comes out. Turn counter-clockwise just a smidge and pull straight out following fishing line. From there cut off any type of Hardware you have on your fishing line and start pulling the string off of the spool. This will take awhile make sure you're near a trash can! After you get done and all string is off take knife stick into crevasse and cut the old line out you will see where it is tied in a knot. As before vice versa. Tie into a double knot and run through front housing, put the front housing back on push on turn clockwise just quarter inch 2 1/2 inch it will stop on its own. Take your finger embrace it with the pole and first wind make loose then add pressure as you're reeling you're lying in off of your new spool of lying that you have purchased occasionally taking the housing off to inspect how much line is in there that about sums it up I hope this helps you. very easy rod and reel 2 respool

how do you replace line

Ok see if I can explain in simple terms: pull out any old line by releasing the drag, Then unsrew the fromt silver cone. Take the new line pull it through the opening of the silver cone, lay the cone aside with the new line going through the opening. crab the end of the line wind the line at least 3 times and make a knot. Pull tight till knot is forms around the inner hub, gab the cone part and screw it back on. Slowly star to turn the crank and slowly tighten the drag. fill the reel almost to capacity. and your done, You also can google, Good luck.
