No, this product does not require refrigeration. After trying many, many iron supplement products, I am happy to report that this product is the best.

Q: Can I put this in a protein shake?

I wouldn’t. You’d ruin your shake. This stuff tastes absolutely horrible. Either mix it with something strong, choke down a dropper full by itself, or better yet- get something else. I’m not exaggerating. I had the taste of bloody fish in my mouth for several hours after taking it.

Q: Can I add this into water?

you probably can add it to water and drink the solution. I don't see why you should not be able to drink it as such instead of a dropper full.
