Great basic thermometer

Not very accurate but it’s ok.

Works as it should.

My heating system control does not show the current temperature of the house. The GELLVAN INDOOR THERMOMETER is small enough to sit on top of the heating control panel. The thermometer’s display screen is big so I read the temperature easily.

Thermometer component was not accurate and slow to respond to changes in temperature.

Really easy to use, responds quickly to changes and is quite a discrete object for desk or hallway.

Purchased one of these ages ago and really like the display - large characters which altenate between temperature and moisture levels with the relevant min/max values adjacent in smaller characters.Good battery life too - one of those tiny silver batteries which is included.Bought a second one for another part of the property - only to find that the first one was faulty on arrival. The second was placed side by side to the original and temperature differs by 1 degree (not a biggie) but moisture level differs by 4% - which is not good.It might just be that one is faulty but the problem is I can't tell which without getting another item.Still the great display means I shall stick with.Update - would expect the battery to last 6 months to a year (previous unit did) but LR44 battery already flat and had to be replaced. So, either old stock or poor quality batteries.
