These work great however I would not try to use the adhesive. Definitely use the screws. The magnets are strong and the adhesive won’t hold. They are easy to install and work perfectly. I wish the were thinner, but I still would buy again.

Strong little magnets. If your doors are aligned properly, the sticky tabs work fine. The majority of mine are out of whack...old house. I put 1-3 layers of (alien) tape on each and they are holding perfectly. My kitchen cabinet doors now stay closed. Great little fix. Definitely would recommend.

Strong magnet but the installation is key. I gave this four stars for the lack of directions and the poor double-faced tape and screws quality. I finally figured out the best way to install these after many false starts on my lateral file drawers. Specifically, the magnet plate should be on the case/casement with the plain "catch" plate on the door/drawer. This way the magnet draws the catch to it. Also, as the double-sided tape did not hold for long (as numerous others mentioned), I tried to attach with the provided screws which immediately broke (as many others mentioned). The provided screws are not steel strength and may be aluminum or some other weak metal. So, I purchased Flat-Head #4 x 1/2" Steel Screws from the hardware store to use and started over. The following is my step-by-step installation list. 1. Punch out the screw-hole-cutouts and carefully position the double-faced tape to the back of the magnet and catch plates. Be aware that the front of these plates have beveled holes to allow the screws to counter-sink and provide a strong plate-to-plate connection. The double-faced tape must be placed on the BACK of each plate (non-beveled hole) side. 2. Assure there is ample space for the "catch" plate to adhere to the drawer/door side when placing the magnet plate on the casement/case. Then remove the double-faced tape covering (I used tweezers to peel) and stick the magnet plate to the casement/case. I applied hand pressure for 30-45 seconds to allow the double-faced tape to "set". 3. Remove the double-faced tape covering from the catch plate and carefully line-it-up on the magnetic plate (for maximum holding contact) while avoiding touching the exposed double-faced tape. Then close then open the drawer/door and the catch plate will adhere to the drawer/door. I again applied hand pressure for 30-45 seconds to "set" the double-faced tape. 4. I used a 1/16" drill bit to drill pilot holes approximately 3/8" deep before attaching the screws which must be counter-sunk. All-in-all, once I figured out the best way to install these, it was a breeze. Others have mentioned the difficulty separating the plates but I have found sliding them apart the easiest solution. Be aware that the double-sided tape will, in my opinion, sooner or later fail. Also, I believe, that the provided screws will eventually snap, because of their inherent weakness, when the constant door/drawer pressure of opening and closing becomes too much. Do it right the first time is my motto.

The magnets are great but I could not get the backing off of the adhesive. I purchased command strips for posters and they worked great.

The magnets are a little light. 2 of my projects I had to double up on the magnets to make them work. The sticky tape they come with is useless. I either had to screw them on, where I could, or use 2 sided tape I had. If they weren’t a lot cheaper than other options they would get a 2 star.

They work great. The amount of pull it takes isn't to hard, but is enough to hold the doors shut. The sticky holds well enough to install the screws. Don't expect it to work with only the sticky pads.

Holy smokes these are awesome. Totally helped my OCD brain with the drawers that just don't stay all the way closed. 🤣 Super easy to apply.

The magnet is very poor, it's unable to hold the door. The adhesive is alsonpoor quality and comes off very easily
