This thing ROCKS!!
I did not want to pay one of my employees to hold logs all day at $12 per hour, and my wife was unavailable. So I purchased this item...I have already used it for more than two hours, so it has already paid for itself ($12 x 2.3 hrs). Here are some photos because the instructions are a little confusing (China written, they are calling a steel washer a "gasket") So let me help those that might need a little clarity. Please refer to the pictures I have uploaded. FIRST OF ALL.. THIS IS SHEET METAL AND THE EDGES ARE SHARP !!! BE CAREFUL !!! I had to "deburr" some of the holes because the bolt (or screw) would not go into the hole (remember this is from China) 00. Nuts and bolts 1. You will have "6 pcs" of angle steel with teeth cut out, lay 3 of these 14 inches apart from each other with the teeth facing up. 2. lay the "short" (U-channel) straight across the very bottom of the legs. (teeth are at the top) (watch the hole alignment they have cut extra holes for some reason) again about 14" apart. You will use (4) of the (8) screws (red), for this side of the log holder (gig). Lay the long "connect strip" at an angle using 2 of the short screws and connect the two "braces" (short and long) in the corner with the longer screw the "Brace" (connect strip) will overlap in the corner..hence the longer screw (blue). 3. The teeth are facing out. 4. notice the braces (connecting strips) the "V" pattern. 5. now flip one side of the gig (teeth facing "out" on one, and teeth facing "in" on the other) notice the brace pattern 6. unit is upside down put the Long "bolts" with lock nuts through the middle hole (do not over tighten), and short "screws" with lock nuts through the "half moon shaped slot" again do not over tighten. 7. notice the "V" braces are opposite each other (staggered for support). 8 I will update the teeth section, I forgot to take a pic of the finished top section. 9. the Chinese instructions are probably better than my instructions lol lol my vocab needs work...please excuse..lol lol I will try to update this review (rough draft).

Sturdy once you get it built
This thing is a nightmare to build. The instructions are worthless and it wasn’t designed in a way that controls for incorrect assembly. They’re are actually EXTRA wholes you don’t even use complicating the build even more. If the instructions were written by a person who spoke English that might have helped or if the diagrams weren’t tiny and printed on a 90’s bubble jet that might help.

Needs 4 hands to assemble
I purchased at a very low price and for that price is good value. It works OK but the assembly was more difficult than expected. It arrived missing all of the screws which the vendor took care of quickly. The hole spacing is not consistent and I found it difficult to get all of the holes lined up to put in the bolts and nuts. I was only able to complete the assembly with help to hold the pieces in place. For my home use this is fine but would not suggest for professional use.

Works well, pretty solid.
This unit holds fairly large logs solidly, and helps a lot when cutting wood. It was a slight pain to put together as the instructions aren't great, but it wasn't too difficult. The 'teeth" are very sharp and hold the wood well (watch your fingers!) Some of the corners are sharp also, so be careful when handling it.

Light weight
The instructions were very poor. The unit is so light that you need something or someone to hold it down when you cut a log. Also, when you cut a log I had to tie the log down with a rope otherwise it would just tumble to the ground. Price was good though :)

Strong and low priced.
This is strong, sturdy, folding saw horse. At this low price, it is the best bargain I've found. It will take about an hour or so to assemble from start to finish, because stick parts are difficult to orient front and back, left and right, but well worth the price. The nylon/steel type nuts do a excellent job of folding this for storage, without any tools.

The logs must be lifted to a new position. You can't slide them once you place them.
Holds securely anything I can lift. Works best with 2 people. One with the chain saw in my case and the other to put the logs in place and hold them down as they are cut. Especially when they are short. The instructions aren't worthless but not a great help. Took some undoing and redoing to get it correct. Makes the job safer when the logs don't roll and it does a good job of stopping that.

Don't waste your money
Product came with no instructions, which isn't too bad as it's pretty easy to figure out. However, it came with absolutely none of the bolts and screws. I had to go out and find some of my own that would fit it. When putting it together, realized not all the support cross bars were in the box, either. Once again, had to go get another piece of metal to bolt into the bottom. Once assembled, the sawhorse is too wobbly to properly use for cutting wood or even branches. Don't waste your money. Purchase a sawhorse that's made with better materials and from a better company.
