Love GIANT ice cubes ! This item is sturdy and stackable which means it takes up less room in the freezer, but makes great big ice shapes and is very stable to fill and carry to the freezer. Some other large moulds are flimsy and bend too much once filled, so you lose half of the water before it has even got a chance to make an ice cube. It also comes with a handy small funnel to help fill the sphere shapes on the top. The ice shapes require minimal effort to remove and the flexible but sturdy mould holds its shape at the same time as being ' peelable ' around the ice cubes themselves. It doesn't wobble or leak whilst in the freezer, so all in all a great product. Would absolutely recommend.

Great product. Used for a few months now. The square shapes are really easy to use. The balls less so. This is because the moulds are not sturdy enough to hold the full ball of water. It means carefully filling up the moulds, carrying carefully to the freezer and placing it on a shelf without spilling water. However, once frozen, makes a great impression in a glass. Product is good quality. Just be aware that depending on your glass size, the ice might now be too big!! Also, the cubes can be tricky to get out of the moulds. You need to use a bit of push power.

Pack consists of two parts - once piece try for large cubes, and a two piece tray for large ice "balls" (about the size of a gold ball). Filling the cube tray is easiest, however i found these were harder to extract once frozen. Needs run under a hot tap before extracting. Ice balls are more of a fidget to make, but easier to extract. Top and bottom trays need to be fully engaged otherwise water seeps into the gap. I found i had to press around the outside of each of the "ball" moulds (you hear a snick when the rubber pops together). Needs careful filling, and some water will end up on the top of the tray - but this helps keep the top tray weighted. Once frozen just break off the ice from the top tray and peel apart - perfect globes for your drink. Rubber trays seem quite robust - have used them quite a lot and there is no sign of any fatigue. Just needs care when extracting to avoid damaging the moulds.

Was introduced to this wizardry a couple of weeks ago whilst visiting a relative. Who'd have thought 'ice balls' were not just a thing of swanky 5* establishments? First thing I did was checked Amazon and they had them. To be honest it was the giant cube and green colour that swayed my choice, so I went with this option. I'm very pleased with the choice as they are easy to use and look pretty cool also. The product seems robust so expect good longevity. The ice is also fairly easy to extract, easier than smaller ice cubes. I can now impress visitors with giant icecubes and balls or simply enjoy on my own.

Not a bad item, and the final ice cubes are good size and shapes. The material feels good quality and not cheeply made. However the tray is a real faff to fill up, and it suffers from some fairly basic design flaws. The primary one is that when filling the balls, the high rim around the top fills with water that is spilled. If you try to tip that away, you also pour out the water in the moulds. This could really easily be fixed by making a hole through the top lip so that water wont pool in it. As I say its not a bad item, I do use it regularly, but refilling it can only really be described as a bit of a ball ache...

I bought this set because we bought a new freezer with an ice shelf and the old freezer just had drawers. It's brilliant, it makes lovely round cubes and very large square ones. There is a ring like Saturn Ari d them but that might be because I've not seated the two halves together properly. Filling the round ones is also a little tricky as the first time I used it I don't think I had the two halves seated together properly as the round cavities weren't filling up and leaking. A bit of fiddling with the silicone sorted this and it worked fine on the next go. So far I've only used the round ones and they are much slower melting than traditional cubes. I'll update when we use the square ones but so far, as they are larger than the round ones, I presume they will be even slower melting. I'd buy again.

After reading some of the reviews I thought I would take a chance on the ice cube/globe trays. Glad I did, 12 perfectly formed ice to add to my G&T. Trays were easy to use, I found the globes the easiest. Don't mess about with the funnel, fill from the tap and the tilt to drain excess, perfect, and easy release. Square tray needs to defrost a little but worth the wait ..... would be better with a lid, in my opinion but ok without. I would buy again. Off for my G&T now! 🥂

Live these as they make really large ice cubes so cool your drink without diluting it too much. Pretty easy to use, the round ones a wee bit fiddly to fill, the large square ones slightly difficult to get out. That aside I use them all the time and glad I bought them.

J’en avais marre des bacs à glaçons classiques et je cherchais un peu d’originalité au niveau de la forme. Pas déçu de ce modèle, les glaçons sont gros et tiennent bien plus longtemps Le bas est très bien fait et plutôt compact pour le mettre au congélateur (les 2 bacs s’empilent même remplis), et le démoulage se fait plutôt facilement. 2 petits points négatifs à déplorer : - du fait de la taille des glaçons, ils sont un peu plus longs à congeler que les classiques - les cubes sont plutôt jolis, en revanche les boules ne sont pas parfaitement sphériques et comportent une petite collerette au niveau du raccord entre les 2 moules. Il parait donc difficile d’obtenir une sphère bien régulière. Pour conclure vous avez là un bac dans l’ensemble très satisfaisant et qui vaut bien son prix. Pour ma part je suis ravi de cet achat 👍

I have been using these ice trays for about a year. One cube in a 13 glass makes for a cold refreshing adult bevie!!
