I've had this coffee press mug since 2020 and it's still my goto mug five years later. I use it five days/week as it's apart of my morning routine when I'm getting ready for work. I brew my coffee at 6AM and it's still fairly warm at 10AM if I don't finish it earlier. Strongly recommend this mug for daily use.

It's very well made and also filters out the grounds quite well. Just get quality grounds and your coffee is going to be bomb every time. 😉

We purchased this item for use while camping. It makes the best coffee. All you need is coffee and hot water. It keeps the coffee hot for several hours. We like it better than our Coleman 8 cup drip coffee maker that sits on a propane stove. It's usually just the two of us so this French press coffee maker is easier to use, more compact and lightweight. We still use the Coleman 8 cup drip coffee maker when camping with more people. But, for the two of us, this unit is perfect. Rugged and easily stowed away, this is a definite winner - especially, if you're backpacking.

the seal and suction are so tight that when I would remove the filter plunger after use, it makes a mess. I tried a couple times, and when no matter how slowly and carefully I try, when the plunger seal comes out of the canteen, the pressure makes the wet coffee grounds pop out with it and spray all over. Never had that problem with any other french press before, so I'm returning this one. Also, the way the drinking opening is designed, it's messy to add cream to the coffee. It does keep it at a hot temperature much better and much longer than I expected from just looking at it, though. They got that part right. And the double filter along with that tight sealing gasket does keep all the coffee grounds out of the coffee.

I purchased this product out of curiosity due to the raving reviews I had heard about it. I had also heard varied reviews comparing it the aeropress so I was curious to know how it stacked up against the aeropress which I loved. I will compare this product to the aeropress as well as other thoughts I have on the product. Pros: - Self contained leak proof system, easy to delay cleaning/easy to clean - Thermal system great for on the go - Portable and sleek - Durable - Also works fine for other beverages other than coffee Cons: - Pricier than the aeropress, but the price is coming down to the point it is comparable - Occasional silt at the bottom of the cup, but far less than the typical french pressed coffee - Makes a really good cup of coffee, but I don't think many are going to massively abandon aeropresses for espros for coffee competitions Other: - Different flavour profile to aeropress, unfair to directly compare it in my opinion other than for portability discussions. If you like aeropress coffee, this might not be for you. Overall, form wise, it doesn't take up much more space than the aeropress which allows the espro to fare well in terms of portability. I felt the flavour profile from the Espro vastly different than the aeropress. It was far more similar to the french press in my opinion which is a pro or a con depending on what you like for your coffee. I personally prefer aeropress, but I do think the Espro has its uses and I will continue to use this on a regular basis. I do like how you can make a cup of coffee in the Espro and delay throwing away the grinds until after you've finished drinking the coffee. I also like how you can make the coffee and have it portable and to go unlike the french press and aeropress which you have to transfer to another cup immediately. I did find that this was an excellent option for tea as it could strain the tea leaves. There are not many insulated container options out there as an all in one option that would beat the Espro for tea. I think this is a great product for tea and coffee. I would definitely consider buying this again, but probably more for tea than coffee.

お湯と粉コーヒーがあればどこでも手軽に美味しいコーヒーが飲めます。保温性は試してないのでちょっと分かりませんが、シンプルな作りでパーツを洗うのも簡単です。2層構造のフィルターのおかげで、ズレてプレスしない限りコーヒーの粉も入ることがほぼないです。唯一気になった点はお湯を入れるMAXの線が結構見えづらいこと（笑）これがよく見えれば個人的に完璧な商品ですね。でも美味しいコーヒーが飲めるのでとても満足しています！

É a minha primeira experiência com este método de preparação de café. Gostei bastante do resultado, embora me pareça que as redes dos filtros têm aspecto frágil. Não sei se vão ser duráveis mediante utilização regular. Ainda assim, é um produto de excelente qualidade que cumpre totalmente com o seu objetivo.

Every French press user has their story and mine is not unique. Having grown attached to my French press of four years, alas, I mourned the inevitable breaking of its glass carafe. Refusing to get just another press or contraption only to get all emotional again if it breaks or does not meet needs, habits, and preferences, I embarked on weeks of research and reading before deciding that a travel press that brews enough coffee for a reasonably large morning cuppa served the needs of of one best. I simply bookmarked Espro Ultralight, looking instead at its less expensive Espro Travel Coffee Press sibling, and several (ok, many) other options including an unbreakable press, an aeropress, drip coffee, and all that jazz. Long story long, I decided to dig deeper into my pockets as I just could not look away from the clean, sleek lines of the Espro Ultralight, its irresistible features, and the promise of a good brew I could take with me on early morning rush-out-of-the-doors, overnight trips, and yet also on slow, lazy mornings. It's been two months. No flipping back the pages. It is and will be Espro Ultralight Ever After indeed, I think! A huge fan of: ~ how true to the name is. It is ultra-ly lightweight and slim enough to fit in my full backpack's side pockets. ~ its understated beauty. So clean, so sleek, so... beautifully designed. Love the material used for the lid, handle, and also the feel of the plunger. ~ its brew! so clear, and sludge-free as I'd never known before in my years of using a well-known, branded press! When I used another press recently, the sludge was just jarring. ~ the simple click-on micro double filter that not just mindlessly and skillfully does its job in my morning slumber, but its simple beauty and the smooth but solid feel it gives as you assemble/ disassemble it (you have to try it to know what I'm saying!) ~ how easy it is to clean after! Compared to the well-known, branded press, cleaning up was so much less messy and strangely, less sludgy too somehow ~ perfect capacity for a large enough cup of morning brew - controls my tendency to make and consume too much coffee in a 34oz press, yet enough to save some for a later quick perk-up sip without the coffee turning too bitter (or worse, sour as it did in my other glass press). ~ how I can let the brew sit while I get the rest of my breakfast to go ready, then plunge it, screw on the (pretty) lid, and still make it on time for that early appointment ~ spill-proof! ~ can be used as my (good-looking) water bottle or hot water and tea thermal flask save the plunger! ~ keeps the coffee warm. Really warm. For really long (even compared to my other well-known, branded thermal vacuum flask). Yet to test it out in cold wintry climate though. When travel borders reopen, I most certainly will! ~ the brew it makes! It kept the aroma of my precious grounds in more than my other press did. Why and how, I know not but there must be some structural genius within. Not yet a fan of: (Hmm, struggled a bit to find fault with it to be honest, but in true honest fashion, there were a few...) ~ how I have to pour it out into a cup if I wanted to add milk (no sugar, please). But there is no way to do that with the normal press or other travel press without removing the plunger or some parts either. One solution that's worked is to add milk slowly through its drinking 'slots', close the lid again and give it a swirl. A compromise, but it works and brings the coffee to perfect drinking temperature too. ~ when adding that 195 degF/ 94 degC water, the steam made it hard to see the maximum line indicator (refer to fourth picture). But it isn't too much of a challenge even in the morning slumber to estimate the amount from your third brew on. ~ my set came with a slight, very tiny, discoloration (visible in the last picture). I wonder if that is because of the stainless steel, non-colored version (I was eyeing the gunmetal or white, but this was the least expensive!). Am I nitpicking? Yes, yes I am. ~ wish this version came with the tea filter too, since it cost more. But I've used it with tea bags and just the lid - works great since the heat-retention wall design keeps the tea at the right temperature! All things balanced out, I'm closing the book on the traditional press (except when I have to brew that larger pot for more than one person), and opening exciting new chapters on more adventures through more travel journeys through more seasons of varying climate and conditions with my Espro Ultralight. Post-pandemic, of course.
