Reese is quality towing materials. Easy to put in a receiver hitch. Rust resistance on these is good, have had one on my SUV for 2 years+ without any rust. Good deal to be able to swap out to multiple hitch ball sizes. Perfect fit for my utv so I can move trailers around my property. The other two balls not in use are easy to store but there's no included storage solution for them. A small cloth bag works well to keep them from rolling around though.

This is a great system, I have several trailers pluse a boat trailer and it is quick and weasy to change the balls. I can’t comment on how it does out in the weather because I always detach the receiver and place it in my suv. It is very sturdy and just a quick twist of the top lock unlocks it for a change. I do spray it with PB Blaster along with the stem about once every couple months to keep it like new.

I've been using this for the last 8 years. I primarily use the 2 larger sizes and tow between 2000 and 5500 lbs trailers. It has never accidentally come lose, so I think it's the design is robust. I leave it on my SUV year round, despite the heavy salt during the winter, and I have had zero corrosion problems. The key to preventing corrosion is to keep it well lubricated (inside and out) and to use a $4 rubber tow ball cover whenever you are not towing.

I don’t trailer often and I don’t leave the hitch on my trailer for extended periods of time. This hitch works perfect for me because I can have one sleeve and use it on multiple trailers. I have a 5 inch drop on my truck because it’s a little high and not having to have three separate hitches is quite an advantage. It’s very easy to switch from one ball size to another. I have heard issues with leaving it out in the weather but I do not have that issue because my hitch is only put on the truck when I’m going to use it. This is perfect for me. I can get rid of all of my extra slides and balls, I can use one for everything!

This hitch seems to be well made and the balls can be interchanged quickly and easily. I use a screwdriver, but anything that fits the slot (dime?) should work.I gave it 4-stars because I have two reservations:1) As previously mentioned, it's only rated for 8000lbs -- not 10,000lbs as the Amazon description says; and,2) Since the ball comes off so easily with a slight twist of the top-center button; I can't help wondering if you were pulling a tail-heavy trailer that exerted a lifting force on the ball -- if the ball (and hence the trailer) might disconnect itself and cause a calamity.I'm using this on a tractor to move several trailers around my yard; so the interchangeability of the balls is very handy. However, I'd hesitate to use it on my truck out on the road, due to my concern about the ball inadvertently coming off. It may not be a problem, but I'd be more comfortable with the type that has a pin for road use.

A very good productI deliver travel trailers and trailers all over the US this is a very good product very durable very strong instead of you have to carry three different receivers and changing balls and still have all the receivers in your truck one receiver three balls turn it turn the screw pops the ball up turn the screw it's locked on and I have used it on three different trucks I have bought three different ones now for all of my trucks I was in an accident got rear-ended about 6 months ago destroyed my trailer it did not break the ball loose I highly recommend it DOT approved because you have to go through DOT inspections and stuff with your trucks this is the best product you can buy for a money you're going to spend 60 bucks for this you get all three balls and a shank you can't buy a receiver and one ball for that price well over 100% satisfied

Like the ease to use and easy to carry extra balls without taking up a lot of space in vehicle
