Will I buy again…I will when I can so that won’t be real often. But love the flavors, quality and how healthy it is!! It came half wrapped in bubble wrap..which was odd…but it was okay and no issues with it…I was Very happy about that especially! Thank you

Unlike other sauerkraut I have experienced where it may be too tangy/salty, or even too crunchy and big pieces, this texture is so wonderful, very fine-like, and even, and it is the perfect amount of tangy, and not overly salty. Wonderful quality being in glass as well--wonderful value for the money. A wonderful gut-healing sauerkraut. Item arrived in perfect condition.

Listen, I grew up on a PA farm. My parents made sauerkraut and it was the absolute best there ever was! It is nearly impossible to find a store bought brand that competes with homemade. However, this brand achieves just that! I cook my kraut for about an hour on low stovetop OR dump it ontop of the pork loin and bake along with the loin. Serve with mashed potatoes and peas and it's a winner everytime! Update: The other brand to try is Bubbies brand...so so good! But you are limited on how many they will sell to you at one time. So try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Amish Family sour kraut is an excellent product. I’ve purchased Amish Family sour kraut several times from Amazon and it always arrived double wrapped in sturdy bubble wrap and professionally boxed. The most recent jar arrived with no bubble wrap, instead it had a small amount of paper placed inside the box, affording zero protection. The jar cap had been damaged, perhaps from being dropped or some similar event. This caused the vacuum seal to be lost. The color did not have the slightly pale yellow color and to top it all, there was a small piece of wood in the jar. The wood looked similar to a short length of a chop stick, about an in and a half long. Amazon does not accept returns of food so the contents were thrown out. I did find the product online at another store and discovered the correct price to be thirty to forty per cent less expensive. I’m in the process of searching to find a local store stocking this wonderful sour kraut.
