Great poles!
I've purchased two sets for my wife and myself. Pros. These are quality poles. The clamps are easy to adjust. The poles slide smooth when changing length. They are nice and ridged, I'm 6'4" 250 Lbs and they hardly flex under pressure. They are super lightweight. The grips feel good and the straps are easy to adjust. The finish looks excellent. Cons. The included small rubber tips do not stay on the poles well. I bought the bags sold separately and the tips will fall off pulling them out of the bag. The fix is easy, throw the tops in the trash and buy some quality tips with deeper wells. I bought two different types of tips so far no issues, they allow the poles to set deeper and they are more snug to the poles. I honestly can not imagine anyone being disappointed with them.

Top of the line trekking poles
I just purchased these poles after trashing my REI carbon fiber poles this summer. The REI poles have been decent, but the foam grips have issues (the tops tear off or come apart) and the tips can't be replaced. These Mons Peak poles are maybe an ounce heavier total (1/2 oz per pole), but I can already tell they are sturdier. They also have great cork handles. Finally, you can purchase replacement tips from the company. All in all, a much better value for just a little more. Definitely 5 stars.

Compact, light and strong
Had only one hike w/ the poles, but they are nice looking, relatively easy to adjust, very comfortable to hold, and have a lower grip extension that saves you the time to adjust when you climb a moderate slope. The only problem I found is under high load you hear an annoying buzz every time the pole hits the ground. Not as strong as my other poles, but not something you'd expect in that price range.

Very nice light sticks, exactly as hoped. Except that the length marker disappears quickly
After just 1 day, long scratches appeared on the lower part of the walking poles. There are probably grains of sand or something in there, but I didn't see any way to fix this. At the end of the 4 day trip the markings on the stick start to disappear. I think this is a shame for such fine but expensive walking poles.

Defective - Would not stay extended
Most unreliable and frustrating set of poles I have ever used. Constantly collapsing with only slight pressure. No amount of tightening would improve performance. Screws on the adjustment clasps would back themselves off after short periods of use and allow the sections to slide. At best not good and at worst dangerous with a surprise collapses. Though I would have enjoyed snapping them to bits, mine will be returned. Will not buy this brand again.

Fantastic Trekking Poles
Have been on a few hikes with these, including a run of 3 of the Adirondack 46 with Marcy (highest peak in NY), and love them! They're super lightweight, look fantastic, and hold up well. Broke a midsection, emailed regarding a replacement, and customer service has been a breeze to deal with. Can't recommend these enough!

As good as it gets….
I seldom use poles in pairs, but buy pairs to enable me to have different tips for different treks. These poles are extremely strong/durable, have nice ergonomic grips, and simply lets you feel the quality as soon as you hold one. Expensive, but highly recommended.

Good fit, solid
I was very pleased with these poles until about a year after I purchased them the clasp broke, rendering it impossible to tighten. I feel I should have received more than one year of use.
