I use this product for my Alto and soprano saxophones These mouthpiece cushions have great adhesion and are well shaped to fit my ebonite mouthpieces. I practice for 2-3 hours a day and have found this product very durable. There is no loss of sound quality at all. High end tone stability and volume is increased as I can maintain a tighter grip on the mouthpiece. The cushioning has not split or deformed under pressure and I can see my purchase lasting a good couple of years. My teeth love them too. Great product

Easy to apply and good quality

Used the BG cushions before, which is a lot more expensive than these. Despite the same thickness specification as the BG, it feels thinner and definitely don't last as long as the BGs. Since these 32 cushions are slightly cheaper than the BG pack of 6, the quantity kind of justify the inferior quality. Easily stick on, so far the adhesive works, but as still on the first cushion, cannot tell how easily it can be removed and replaced yet.

Yep, if you play then you need them, a lot cheaper than biting down on the mouthpiece and a lot more comfortable. You can still feel the rattle in the very bottom register but still a great purchase. They are easy to fit and replace, I always clean the mouthpiece anyway but they don't seem to leave any residue or marks behind when replaced. I'm not sure how long one packet will last but there's loads of them.

Good: - Just the amount of guards included - The guards are comfortable when fresh - The adhesive sticks too good, can endure a wash of mouthpiece without being replaced Bad: - After two days of 2-3 hours of performance, I chew through it. - If not replaced immediately, small pieces of rubber start breaking off into your mouth - The adhesive is absolutely too strong when applied correctly. You always need to strip it off after you pull the guard off of the mouthpiece. ****In general, bought because of frequent sanitization of the mouthpiece. Found out, they get destroyed very fast and need frequent replacing. Wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a more durable product.
