This clipper was perfect for trimming my miniature poodle. High quality, well built, and works great. Kind of expensive but worth every penny!

Doodle owners are no doubt finding their wonderful pets are very high maintenance, as we quicky discovered. The thick and tightly curled coat of our golden doddle seems to matt instantly, despite our best efforts to comb it daily. Grooming fees every six-eight weeks started to chip away at our budget. I don't begrudge the grooming fees, because it's a lot of work, but since we are retired, I need to stretch the money for other things. This isn't for everyone to tackle, but we decided to try clipping our doodle ourselves. This clipper performed flawlessy with the first use. It's solidly made, quiet, and easy to use as a cordless. There was plenty of charge to finish the trim. It will quickly pay for itself, albeit we have to be willing to put in the effort.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great product. I work at a grooming salon and I’ve done full cocker spaniel cuts with these. Also great for paw pads. They don’t heat up too fast and are very precise. Little to no clipper lines and the light weight/slim design makes it easy to handle. Does die after a 8 hr day at work but it charges fast.

Love this thing, tho if you’re also looking for a training plan for how to get your dog used to at home grooming, read on. Purchased for my Australian shepherded after reading great things about this specific clipper. I’m training my pup to be comfortable with being groomed, so I leave this out in the living room, or wherever I am spending most of my time, and began by turning it on occasionally. I’d do this while she eats her dinner or kong treats, Icecream treats, playing tug of war with my husband - whenever she’s in a great mood basically, just to get her used to the noise, which is mostly the same level as an electric tooth brush. My plan was to gradually desensitize her to the sound, then proximity (bringing it closer to her), pretending to cut her hair while it’s off, and just simply being gradual and consistent with small steps. It was taking a while, but she wasn’t in dire need of a hair cut, so I just stayed consistent. My husband though was of the mind to just hog tie her and sheer her like a sheep. A trauma I adamantly wanted to avoid. When she was letting me take her paws and pretend to trim her toes, with only a little bit of nervousness, I decided it was time. I pulled out the secret weapon, yogurt slathered to a suction cup thing mounted to the sliding glass door, and while she was busy with that, she let me just trim all of her, toes and tummy included. She let me take so much fur I could stuff a small pillow. Wouldn’t have been able to do this so easily if it were tied down with a cord. I love the digital battery display, which stayed over half full the entire time on the first charge. The guards slide on and off with ease, and the lever to change blade’s closeness is an added extra control that I appreciate. Awesome buy at about 40% off for the pinky purple color. I first was looking at the cheaper stuff, 40-60$ range, but this is really an investment item which I intend to save hundreds throughout the life of my pup by avoiding dog-salons. I have no doubts this thing will last a while, seems better made than my husbands hair trimmers.... Just takes some patience with training - that may also apply to an impatient husband who isn’t seeing the progress fast enough. Persist. :)

Lightweight, quiet, easy to use, and works well, we were able to groom our 14 lb dog on 1 charge. The blade got a little warm, but not hot to the touch. The plastic comb attachments are ok and they stayed attached for the duration. Overtime though, the warm clipper blades will warp the plastic, so the comb attachments should be stainless steel.

I was a little nervous grooming my Shih Tzu for the first but I worried for nothing! This is a wonderful product that I would highly recommend. It is nice and quiet, handles well, holds the battery for more than enough time for the entire grooming. I was afraid I'd skin her but the blade protectors won't let that happen. It's a very substantial tool that I am told will last many years if you keep it clean and oiled. The money I save in three grooming fees will pay for itself.

This item is worth the money. It works awesome, it is light weight, does not over heat to burn or vibrate to terrorize my dogs like the cheaper ones do. I like the fact it can be plugged in or not as well. I am able to groom 2 toy poodles with this back to back and have enough battery and it gets a little warm by the end but not hot at all. It is perfect for what I needed it for. Highly recommend it.

Best clippers I have had! Have a cocker spaniel and was having a difficult time with other clippers cutting through her fur. This pair worked like a charm. Done in 15 minutes, no issues. Money well spent.

These clippers work great. Battery really lasts, they are light and easy to use and don’t heat up. Work well on my long haired cat. Very good quality.
