And the best part is it fits conveniently in your duty bag, and pulling it out to write a traffic citation on inside the car is a breeze. This isn't a giant holder that makes it difficult (and dangerous) to write a citation by adjusting your seated angle in order to cleanly write. You can simply rest this light weight board against your wheel, and always have the vehicle in your field of view while writing the ticket. It even has a few compartments inside that you can tape a cheat sheet too with associated fines, violations, etc. It doesn't clasp closed however, so just be aware of that if you keep a bunch of documents inside and accidentally drop it or have to throw it down. I have used this item for years. I ordered two more recently with plans to order more in the near future. I like how sturdy and compact they are. They easily fit in a back-pack, the glove box, and in the seat pockets. I like that it has a place to store extra forms, a pen, a pencil, an eraser, and something sturdy to write one.

Perfect replacement for a unit that was 24 years old when it got stolen. Not quite as thick metal as the original, but still functional.

Product is exactly as I expected, although I wish the manufacturer took a little more time rounding the edges off. Also wish they use new aluminum rather then recycled they seem very cheaply made now a days.

It's a work horse. This is my 3rd one my guys like it's durability, I forgot mine on the truck it fell into the street I picked it up straightened it out and it's still going strong.

Good for on the job but as it says it's small and doesn't fit a normal sized paper in it
