Product is good, but customer service contact could take awhile.

Im a paramedic and purchased this as a stand-in after I misplaced my Littmann Classic II SE. I had already purchased a Classic III but was worried it wouldn't arrive in time for my next run of shifts so picked this up with prime delivery. So far I haven't tried this in the field but using it on house mates I can say that the acoustics are absolutely fantastic. Lung sounds are amplified and I can hear clearly even through clothing. Compared to my old Classic II and new Classic III this steth is a huge cut above the rest. I can only see one downside which is the size and weight - this will not fit into my pocket and may need to live in my obs kit. I will update this review after using it in the field.

Great stethoscope! I purchased this to replace an old Litmann stethoscope that had gone missing on a ward. To buy the same Litmann again would have been similar in price. The sound quality on this is far superior. I'm glad I went with the MDF!

Excellent product

I've no idea how this compares with a 'like for like' on equivalent specification with Littmann but on a price-to-price comparison it appears *much* better. Below is a simple good/bad comparison to my previous steth (a Littman Classic III). Bad: - Heavier - Much stiffer tubing (although it seems like it's angled at the right angle for typical bedside examination) (Not as many colour options?!) Good: - *Much* better sound quality - which surely must be the overriding factor - (Apparently) lifetime free replacement of parts (and some spares already supplied) - Softer earpieces with multiple size options - definitely a very important factor when you're using it every day a lot. (I am a junior doctor working mostly in medicine.)

Well worth the money, highly recommend upgraded and the best thing I ever done clear and easy to use especially on these old ears makes my job a lot easier stat buy

Sound quality very bad, not worthy the money. Good as a gift for a child but for medical purposes not fit in my opinion. Cheaper than littmann but due to bad sound it now costs me more as need to still buy a littmann

Ich habe mich für dieses Stethoskop zunächst vor allem aufgrund der Farbe entschieden. Ich habe von MDF einen Reflexhammer ebenfalls in Roségold geschenkt bekommen und wollte ein dazu passendes Stethoskop haben. Die Kombination aus Roségold und Weiß sieht sehr edel aus. Das Stethoskop liegt schwer in der Hand, aber nicht unangenehm. Mir ist es so am liebsten. Die Qualität der Auskultation ist hervorragend. Mit dem namenhafteren Konkurrenten kann es auf alle Fälle gleichziehen. Und kostenlose Ersatzteile ein Leben lang zu bekommen ist ein toller Service. Für die pulmonale und kardiale Auskultation ist es sehr gut geeignet, eine Diagnostik ist damit ohne Weiteres problemlos möglich. Wer lediglich ein Stethoskop zum Blutdruckmessen sucht, gäbe mit diesem zu viel Geld aus.

El producto es diferente a la descripción el que yo pedí es uno blanco sin brillitos y es edición limitada, el material es oro rosa y este es cobrizo. Aquí en Mexico si lo hay misma edición sin embargo es negro. La calidad del MDF es buena pero no lo mismo que la descripción al que yo esperaba ya que lo describen como edición limitada y su matiz es brilloso y la manguera es totalmente blanca sin brillitos como este. No se ve elegante para nada

I’m an RN in the ICU and I love this stethoscope! It’s a little heavy and the tubing is thicker than most out there but the quality is unbeatable! I’ve had other nurses borrow it and they end up buying one too. Definitely worth it!

I have used Lipton stethoscopes for 13 yrs. If I had not misplaced it ay work, I'd still continue to own it. I decided to give MDF brand a try. I actually like it quite a lot. I can hear infant's lung sounds clearly. I have always struggled to clearly hear a heart murmur and was quite surprised I was able to catch it on one of my patients. I also love the unique designs MDF offers. The stethoscope is a bit heavier than my old lipton but I prefer the sound quality that the weight.
