I swapped out all three blend door actuators in my Jeep with the A-Premium HVAC Heater Blend Door Actuators, and the difference was immediate and honestly a little satisfying. That maddening click click click that never seemed to end is finally gone, and the HVAC system now works exactly like it should. All three actuators use the same part number, which made the job simpler than expected, and fitment was spot on. What really sold me is that these feel every bit as solid as OEM—maybe even better—but cost about a quarter of the price. Smooth operation, no noise, no drama, and no buyer’s remorse. If you’re tired of chasing HVAC gremlins and listening to your dash sound like a woodpecker with a caffeine problem, this is an easy win and I’d buy them agian without hesitation.

Bought this part to fix the clicking sound from my 2015 Jeep Patriot. It was pretty easy to install. Two screws and a wire connection. Part fit perfectly! Immediately eliminated the clicking sound! Absolutely worth purchasing and the price was incredibly reasonable (Cheaper than any auto shop).

Fit perfectly in my 2014 Jeep Patriot. Fairly easy to install and solved this clicking.

To use this motor on a 2014 Patriot recirculation door the gears have to be changed to make it fit. First, remove the cabin filter behind the glove box. You can peer in the filter hole and see the recirculation door and hinge. Remove the old Actuator. Examine how the gear is lined up with the marks. On the new actuator open it up. Move the gear about one tooth until its gear matches the old one. Slap it together and test it. It works great for me. Initially I was going to return the actuator as it didn't fit. But then realized I could not find where to buy the correct one. A little trial and error and this was the solution for me. BTW, the old one was broken when I took it part and looked inside. Also I hear of people saying after then fixed it the door gear was broken. My guess is that this is a result of forcing the new actuator on without adjusting the gears inside. Good Luck!
