Women's Long Formal Sequin Chiffon Evening Prom Dress

I ended up returning this dress only because the bodice was too large (waist to shoulder) and having the shoulder straps shortened would have cost a lot of money (and probably would have messed up the dress) due to the top being fully sequined. It runs true to size—I am a 34C, 27” waist and the 4 fit great, except I am too short-waisted. The bottom fabric is flowy and very full—very expensive looking. Comfortable on—although zipping past the sequins requires assistance. Keep in mind that the dress is VERY long, so if you are short like I am (5’ 2”), no amount of high heel is going to make it short enough. I was willing to pay for the hemming given the excellent price of the dress. If it fits you, you will be extremely pleased!

This dress was purchased for my daughter’s prom. I am not ok with revealing dresses that you now see at prom, and this dress was very tasteful yet stunningly beautiful! She got SO many compliments from her friends, as well as many compliments from my adult friends. We received many comments about how beautiful and classy it was. Definitely a win win!For reference, she is 5’6”, and she weighs around 110 pounds. As you can see the dress was floor length on her. We purchased the XS, and it fit her perfectly.

This dress is very pretty. I received a lot of compliments. I originally ordered one size smaller but it was too tight across the chest so I returned for the larger size. Larger size fit pretty well but was maybe a little loose under arms. Material felt nice and had a nice drape.The only negative I have is that the sequins are very sharp and rubbed under my arms and on my back down the zipper. It was very painful and left cuts, so be aware that it may be uncomfortable on sensitive skin. Other than that, I loved it.

It looks really good. I wore it only once. I love it!Now that I have declared that I love it. Some practical points - i did get a little chafing on the inside of my arms from the upper half of the dress. I can’t comment on quality confidently because it wore it only once. I did see a little thread being pulled out in the bottom half of the dress maybe because of my studded bracelet tugging on to it.But I still love it because I people said it looked really good

The dress was a winner the moment we seen it on. Elegant with plenty of sparkle.This was bought as a Homecoming dress for my daughter. It does run small in the chest so keep that in mind. We received a medium. 5'8" , bra size B.*Edit 10-9-2019I still would recommend this dress, it really is a pretty item but I am now returning the one I was sent. After wearing this for Senior Homecoming, we noticed the sequins were sewed on crooked and gapped in the front and falling off. Plus the zipper left scratch marks on my daughter's back and the inside waistline hem had sequins in the stitching which dug into my daughters sides. The dress we received was poorly sewn together.

I wore this to a Vegas wedding. Like "little white chappel" Vegas wedding. Everyone did kind of a vintage Vegas glam style so that's what I was going for. This dress fit perfectly, just as described from measurements, and I got a lot of compliments on it. No one could believe I got it from Amazon, lol! I bought the navy blue color, and the reason for that is because the top and bottom were all one cohesive color. Rather than some having lighter sequins on top, and a different color skirt. I like the solid tone and felt it made it look classy, not costumey.

I had high hopes for this dress. First off it was delivered in it's clear shipping bag without the benefit of Amazon's shipping box or bag. Maybe that contributed to only some of the sequins being off kilter. I believe they could have done a much better job with the sequins. They did not lay properly nor in alignment which gave the dress a "cheap" look. The pictures depicted an elegant looking dress ( I was going to wear to a wedding) and from far, far away it may have looked that way. It was not sewn well. It did fit properly - reference 5' 7", 118 lbs, evenly distributed. Overall, not elegant, looked cheap

I was hesitant To order a dress off Amazon. But I figured I had enough time before the event in case I needed to return it. I am extremely glad that I went with the dress. It was very flattering. I am 5’3” tall and about 120 pounds and the small fit me perfectly. It was really long, so I had to wear heels with it. The sequins on the back we’re a little itchy just by the way it was stitched together. But it didn’t really bother me. The only thing that bothered me was the inside of my upper arm rubbed on the sequin bodice. Otherwise, truly lovely!
