Most Excellent!
I do long distance motorcycle travel and started experiencing lower leg swelling. Pretty much had Popeye looking lower legs. I bought a pair of these at Walgreens a decade ago for $38 to see if they would resolve my leg swelling. They worked great and not only found that they resolved my leg swelling but also kept my feet much cooler in my motorcycle boots than regular socks. I wanted another pair as 10 years of use they are near worn out but had no idea of the brand. I was fortunate enough to find an old photo with the package. I guess I took it for memory sake. I was glad to see the same socks for a much lower price! Additional benefits I found that traveling and camping when I wash these socks they dry out quickly for a no stink riding day. A must have for any kind of travel IMO.

Misleading sizing chart!
The product listing shows a sizing chart based on calf circumference and distance from floor to knee. Based on this I was right on the border of medium and large, so I ordered one of each. Finally when they arrived they have a second chart on the packaging that says anyone over size 12 should get extra large! I am 14 so I would need an extra large despite the chart telling me that I should be fine with a medium. They need to fix their product page and include both charts. This is ridiculous. It just wastes time and creates more returns. Anyway the large are nearly impossible to get on, but once I have got them on 5 minutes later, after two or three attempts and a myriad of curse words, they actually feel pretty good, they are not too tight. So if not for that critical omission on the product page, I would have rated them five stars. But overall they do their job well, and keep swelling down to a minimum.

Jobst who?
Do you have varicose veins? A DVT? Edema? Do you need compression socks? Well, THIS is what you want. All the comfort and compression of those ridiculously overpriced Jobst socks, but less than 1/4 the price AND LAST MORE THAN 3 MONTHS! WOW! I've been buying these for years and have only worn a hole in one, and that took 4 years to do. Yeah, do yourself a flavor and buy some of these instead.

Best bet for your money.
These socks are great. I work on my feet. I used to work through the pain and ignore the swelling. Now my days are much more enjoyable and the swelling is not an issue. Yes, they are hard to put on and it does take practice to get it right. It is not supposed to be easy. These are not normal socks. Graduated compression means that the strongest compression is at the ankle and it gets weaker from there on up. That is how they work, and they do work! For the first week or two I had the heel way up above my ankle and the socks seemed to be about four inches too long. That is because I was pulling them up incorrectly. You can't just grab these socks by the top and pull them on. Follow the instructions on the package and practice, and be patient. You will get it. I actually discovered that I prefer it when they are pulled up just a *little* too far as the compression seems to be tighter that way. I just fold the excess down into a cuff below the knee. By the way, my calves are 16.5" in circumference and my legs are about 17" from the floor up to the bend of my knee. I ordered the Large and they are a great fit. I am a weightlifter, so my calves are much larger than my ankles, but I still get plenty of compression at the ankle. I have lymphedema from a car wreck years ago, and these socks really help to control the swelling in my feet and ankles. If you have lymphedema there is no cure, only therapy, and these socks were exactly the therapy I needed. If I am on my feet for more than a few hours in a day I often add an ace bandage on the leg that needs the most attention. That completely controls the swelling. I only mention all this because 20-30 mm/Hg is an orthopedic level of compression, so I hope other shoppers might find these details to be helpful.

I have worn compression socks for two decades for my circulation. These socks are great.
I wear compression socks to keep my legs healthy. I have a broken valve in my left foot so I need the compression socks to stimulate my circulation. These socks are comfortable, relatively easy to put on and to keep clean. I toss them in the washer with my regular laundry. My doctor says I have "vein insufficiency" which my father had, and my sister and her son has. These socks are just right for my health.
