Although I have other silk scrunchies, you can definitely feel the difference with the Lilysilk. The silk is thicker and better quality and the elastic band is better (thicker and stronger but gentle in your hair). I have fine hair but moderate density and this works well. I have purchased 2 more plus one as a gift.

My first time using a scrunchie and I'm forever sold! This scrunchie is made of good quality. I love the texture. Whenever I take it off, it doesn't break or pull my hair like regular ties do. I was experiencing a lot of hair breakage. I follow a hairstylist from Colombia on Instagram and she recommends using hair scrunchies to our daily use to avoid and prevent hair breakage. I was skeptical about this but decided to give it a try. Well, it really works! I got my order on March 13th, and since then, I haven't experienced any breakage like I used to; any breakage at all! It's truly impressive. No more hair ties for me! I'm glad I found something that protects my hair, especially during the night. I literally wear it 24/7 because I don't want to risk my hair breaking again. This is a total must have for me! I recommend it 100%.

I use this hair scrunch every night. It holds my hair up while I sleep and the only hair scrunch that does not put a crimp in my hair. I travel with it as well. Just bought one for my daughter.

This is the third brand of silk scrunchies I've tried, and I was specifically looking for smaller, firmer ones to help hold my braid in place. I purchased the set of 9 mini scrunchies and it came in a nice satin pouch, which was an unexpected bonus. There are some minor flaws and concerns I have about these scrunchies, but overall they are a great value when purchased in the set. The silk satin is very thick and much thicker and shinier than other brands I have tried. I have ordered many items from LilySilk and I do feel confident that these are 100% silk as advertised. However, the quality concern I have is that the scrunchies are finished by hand, but the stitching is not very neatly done. There are some user pictures on the other LilySilk scrunchie reviews showing this problem, so I knew to anticipate it. I have no problem repairing them myself if they come apart, but do wonder why they couldn't be properly sewn in the first place since it's not difficult to do it right. The other thing to note is that the elastic portion on the inside is not a normal elastic. It is one of those seamless stretch tube elastics that kind of looks like you cut up a tube sock. On the positive side, these won't break or snap, but on the negative side, they have less stretch than a traditional elastic and can stretch out over time, since the elastic fibers are woven into fabric and are much finer than one solid elastic. I found that this inner elastic gave these scrunchies a very firm feel, but they didn't stretch as much as a normal elastic. They wrapped twice around my very thick hair for a ponytail, and they held my braid securely, but they may not stretch enough for everyone. The mini size is great for my purposes, but this won't replace my larger silk scrunchies that can wrap three times around my ponytail and hold a bun in place.

I love this scrunchie! The mulberry silk is very soft, but doesn’t seem to slip like satin does. The elastic inside is strong. I hadn’t realized there would be such a difference in quality. It’s totally worth the money.

I am really sad to write a negative review for this scrunchie coz I really liked the material. It is as advertised that it is so smooth on your hair avoiding the pulls and hairs coming out while removing it. First of all I ordered the same item a year back and I got a different one without the small brand tag on and the material was not good too. But this time I can feel it was real silk, unfortunately it loosens so quick. The inner elastic in the scrunchie is of very very low quality that it loses its elasticity with 2 months. For the price for one scrunchie at least they should do justice to that silk material. Within two months mine become loose. Even the cheaper ones from drug store lasted for years. And there is no point in adding that little brand tag, it’s actually annoying. For this price I need it to last for more than two months. And people who can make scrunchies out of silk must put some effort in getting a good quality elastic so that it can lasts. This three stars is actually for the silk material other wise none. The size of the scrunchie was perfect for my long hair. I would say it’s not worth for the money.
